I have had 3 missed calls  from this number and it is really annoying.
When i tried to phone them back it just said i will be charged and i am still with vodaphone!

This number is indeed Vodafone, it is usually their retentions department looking to keep you. If you are getting nothing when you pick up, try holding on for about 5 seconds as it will eventually put you through to the CSA on the call... patience is key

I have had 3 missed calls from this number today, everyone is saying it is vodafone but i am not with them, i never have been. I just dont understand why they would ring me. Are they trying to get me to change their that company?

Just had a call from Vodafone on this number. It takes a few moments for the line to conect but they guy was very polite and friendly. My son has just applied for a contract with them who they asked for by name.

As with a lot of call centres (I know it is very annoying) it can sometimes take a few moments for the line to contect.

They are probably trying to offer you something,follow up on a query or ask why you are cancelling. Trouble is, until they get a response they will keep ringing. If you don't want what they are offering -  say "NO".


As I say, I found the guy very polite and friendly.

I left them at the beginning of December, They have only just called me, umm bit too late i think!

Just received a call on this number (08080000133 @ 10:32 GMT 6 Feb 2010 )  I've just fell out with them, and have asked for a settlement fee.  Got yet another email (written in reasonable English this time) Not a happy bunny.  Read Sheila's blog.  Have just received a msg as I am writing this, offering to talk to me.  That's nice.  I had to stop my direct debit to get them to respond in a sensible manner.  Within 2 days they responded.  What happens If you don't pay, do you get transported to abroad to clean their aerial masts? I'm very impressed with their customer service.  I'm goin' to take a rest now, I'm very tired

Same here - Are their systems so bad they can't tell whether the mobile number they call you on is still one of theirs?!

Cancelled my contract with Vodafone as I am now living in Italy. I told vodafone this was the reason for cancelling and had 2 missed called from this number today. Can't wait for the contract to finish and the calls to stop.

i keep getting calls from this number and when i answer nothing happens i would like it to stop

requested pak code friday, told them I was going o2 as they were far cheaper for sim only tariff. knew id get a call from vodafone at some point as they did same at end of my last contract. however had the call this morning and was silent! how annoying

I keep getting calls from this number day and night.

I got so fed up of waiting for customer services  to sort my charges for text premimum text messages out..I didnt recieve ONE..but got charged for months and months...even though I offered to send my phone to let them see not ONE showed on my phone!!!!..
I rang Voda in Newbury, she put the phone down at exactly 5pm..so I rang again  and by  EGYPT , the male was fanastic, looked up all my account and gave me credit for the premium text messages I never rec'd...
I will take call AFTER 5pm from now on.

The numbers are used for our campaigns to contact our customers about various different activities.

I had 2 calls from this number and i've never been with vodafone...

Like the other comments, I too am receiving silent calls from this number. It is most annoying when you are busy or resting. Who the hell is responsible for this stupid waste of company money and MY time.
