just got a call from this number - it had been calling several times and I never bothered to answer, but this once I did just to tell to stop... I was expecting a customer services call from Vodafone to try to sell me something else, instead it was a guy from a marketing company trying to set up a business meeting? Looking at the other posts, I think there must be a technical fault somewhere and this number gets shown instead of the right caller's number... possible?

i got a call from this number today 16/02/12 and they left a v/mail
i'm an exsisting vodafone customer, a new one.
they said that they received an email request for a copy of a call and that they'll email it to me...
i never requested anything
they never confirmed the email address they would send it too
worrying
i'm going to check my online account and might call later or bring it up when on the phone to them next

Just had a phone call from this number but missed it as i was on the phone to vodafone cancelling my contract!

If it was vodafone trying to entice me back that is very quick work!!

Its annoying by keep ringing! i havent got a clue who it is!

Got two calls from this number today. I think its Vodaphone as I have just done a online upgrade but when I answer they hang up. This is very annoying as got a ton of calls from Carphone Warehouse last month trying to sell a upgrade so will complain. Don't they understand we work for a living and maybe should think twice about stressing customers. Thus I refuse to answer again and might switch to another network.

I just received a call from this number. I am in the middle of an onging complaint to Vodafone this morning. The phone went dead when I picked it up.

Just to update. I called their customer services and registered for a ring back which there system said would take 16 mins. 16 mins later I got a call from this number and it went dead when answered again. I'm an O2 customer and I have had 2 missed calls this morning. I have never been with VF and have never requested a PAC from O2. I can only guess why the number is calling me but I would be surprised if it was VF.

Unsolicited Call

Vodafone Customer Services - Overseas call centre. Chap called from Vodafone regarding an unpaid bill which is in dispute.

Told him I was dealing with them regarding the matter in writing of which Newbury Head Office are aware. So clearly someone hasn't told the Overseas Call Centre Department this. I terminated the call.

Can Vodafone's retentions dept... I've only just joined Vodafone and missed a call from this number today.

My number was supposed to be switched from my old network yesterday but it didn't go quite right.

Problem was fixed first thing this morning and I got a call later from this number so I assume it was Vodafone's Customer Services calling to check the line and/or let me know it was fixed. Would have been helpful if they'd left a message!

At least five attempts to contact me recently. When I phoned I was told the call was chargeable - go away!!!

Just had a missed call from this number. If it is voda. Been with them 7 years and never tired to cancel my contract

The following number 08080000133 calls and is from Vodafone only problem is if you answer your mobile you will get charged as I did and then checked my balance and they had taken 25pence for the call glad I hung up quickly. don't answer if they ring from this number. I think this is all wrong and Vodafone should stop taking money in this way as many of us is not aware of this. Pay as you go customer.

Today i got two calls from this number.  and i am not from UK ..my call tracker says this call is from UK.  as most of them claimed i also could not manage to pick this call both times. but why on earth they call a non UK resident .. is it has something related to my Vodafone sim in my home country ? in that case am not i suppose to get call from my own country customer care ?  surprised :) :O

No idea why this number is calling me!!! I'm not a Vodafone customer and haven't been for many years!!!

I have had calls for the last ten days. They hide the number so I reported to nuisance calls at vodafone and they told me to report to police, as well. They even traced the private number for me. Lol. They told me it was a company number and they operate from 9-5 however I still get calls up to 8pm ???

Your wouldn't want to be a Vodafone customer!  I've come to the conclusion that the way they made £l.5b in the last financial year is partly due to them taking money off pensioners who, like me, seldom use a mobile phone. I found out when enquiring at the Vodafone shop, in July, that I'd been cut off at the end of April and my credit taken.  They offered me a 'free' SIM card requiring me to top it up.  Needless to say, I refused.  I wasn't told I was going to be cut off or subsequently that I had been cut off.  This had left me in a very vulnerable situation in many respects.  That's how much they value your custom!  I found out online that I am in a low/variable signal area but they usually come at you with, 'Congratulations, you can get a signal in your area!'  (if you're lucky!)  I've had to stand outside in the rain to send text messages.
