i had a call from this number today. and i type the google it see all the comments people wrote about this number. so everyone be careful.why is teh vodafone given our number 2 this people.

i work for the 08080000144 number we are genuinly from vodaphone its not a scam....
we genuinly ring vodafone customers to check that the minutes and txts are right as sometimes the info is entered wrong

so if u have say less txts than u thought we can sort it asap so YOU dont go over th tariff.
if we didnt ask for your details to CONFIRM you are the acaount holder and go ahead we get fined up to 8500 pound...
so if u do get another call if you wait 2 secs after giving ur information we will confirm all your details ok.

I have had a few missed calls off this number too!  I dont like to answer funny looking numbers, but thanks to you guys i know what to expect when i do answer the call :)

I got a call from this number, I am with Vodaphone, they spoke to me about renewing and I got a really good deal. The deal all went through and I got the handset as well the next day in the post. I dont know if they are Vodaphone or a third party but their deals are good and its all gone through fine. Apart from them sending me the wrong colour handset which I can send back to Vodaphone. so dont be and see what they have to over you.

I have just missed a call from this number and thought it looked odd, so googled it and thankfully I now realise that this seems like fraudulent activity.

Had call off this number yesterday twice and answered the second time a a man stated he was calling from a company on behalf of money supermarket regarding an enquiry i made via the web site. i had made an enquiry and told man i was not interested,googled this number and found this site again for scam numbers

Have had numerous calls from this number over the last couple of weeks, never really had time to speak with them due to work.

Have spoken to Voda customer services today and was told they do not "cold call" for you to upgrade as you know when its time and will call them if you need to!

Sounds dodgy, but they'll not like it the next time they call!

it's a scam, been with vodafone for over 14 years they never phone and offer
you a upgrade,i phoned vodafone about this number and he told me that it was a scam, hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!

This number keeps ringing me but I'm not answering. I keep putting it through to voicemail instead. A legitimate caller would leave a message but these guys won't.

two missed calls over the last two days

I keep getting these calls almost daily...not answered a single one yet, happened to miss them every single time LOL

Maybe next time I'll pick it up, and give them some false details, and see if they noticed!?!?

Just gave them false details and they knew I was bullsh*ttin them!! Gonna call 191 now to check it out.

Whoa... Vodafone say it's real... I still don't trust it tho... anyone else had Vodafone say it's right that these people are ringing because an upgrade is due??

I also got a call from this number, is very very annoying, ring me twice a day and for a week already. I did answer once, but it's silence and hang up!
So just have a look on google, and found out, so many people like me. We ALL are the vodafone's mobile user. Do anyone think if vodafone have given our number out?

Same caller... think it must have been an ex or current worker at vodafone. however when i answered they hung up. thanks to google i think i will be blockin the number. cheers

Thanx for the info, i have been gettin them day and nite. Its called me 8 times in the laast two days.

I've had two calls, one on Friday and one today, both of which I've ignored as the number looked odd and no message was left.  Having read these posts I will be blocking the number now.  Thanks.

Just had this number call and thought i would Google it ..glad of the info on here..the strange thing is if they genuinely are Vodafone as some say why they calling me I'm on T-Mobile..

Just got a cll from this number.  Who on earth states can i ask your name for data protection reasons?
