Had about 8 calls so far same number. Girst time asking for my ex husband saying that they were bank of scotland and when i said we have been divorc3d a few years asked my name then phone abrupyly went off. After this lots of calls but dont talk put the phone down when i answer.

Unsolicited call

Had a text from this number claiming to be Lloyds bank and that i needed to contact them about my banking situation. Its clear to me from this page that its a fake. I will contact Lloyds directly and ask them to monitor my accounts.
But what worries me the most, how have they managed to get my mobile number and how do they know who i bank with?

Feed up with calls off this number

Its a mix of banks.. it could be lloyds/ halifax or any other bank of scotland..
They mainly call if you are in arrears maybe with your mortgage credit cards with them.. only downside if you dont pick up and  when you call back its just a message saying they tried to contact you.. whats the point if you cant get back .. but they do asklto confirm dob and name and address which seems like a scam but it is legit

Rang me and told me personal banking issue from the halifax...I refused to hand my details over and I'm really annoyed as they have my name and bank info from somewhere!!!.

When I tried to call this number back, I just got a recorded message stating "you were called today by the Lloyds Banking Group or one of its members agents, these members include: Lloyds Bank, Halifax, Bank of Scotland and Sainsburys Bank Plc."
There is no reason that any of these people would need to contact me. Blocked

Ok so when you get a call, youre happy not to go over security and happy for them to give out your personal details to someone they havent verified..ofcourse they need to ask personal details.

Birmingham midshires/LBG/halifax mortgage collections

I just received a text from Lloyds Bank to call this number this evening, the same number called me last Thursday, they knew that I was in an unplanned overdraft and I told them last week that I get paid THIS Friday so I can't see why they need me to contact them, because I have told them that when I get paid the unplanned overdraft will be paid off without any issues

Am fed up of this number calling me I've never had a lloyds account. Stop calling me

called by an asian sounding lady for my husband to say it was a personal banking matter, when I queried it as we have a joint account she kept repeating it was a personal banking matter.   She would not tell me where she was calling from or give me her number to call back.  My husband phoned the number 08081450421 and they said they were Lloyds Bank collections dept and it was to do with a Halifax personal loan.  They wanted him to pay a missed direct debit but we were suspicious as it was a foreign call centre.  So I insisted we call a UK number and pay them instead which we did.  But the UK Halifax personal loans dept were not very helpful when I suggested it was suspicious and did not reassure customers that their banking information was secure by using cold calling foreign call centres. Have raised this as an official complaint with Halifax Bank and will forward complaint to Financial Banking Ombudsman Service.

I hope they reject your complaint - stop moaning and pay your bills on time

I've had a couple of text messages from this number claiming to be from Lloyds Bank asking me to call them regarding my credit card account being overdue . . . by 80p! This is not a Lloyds number and I know what is suggested is totally untrue and is so obviously a scam. Ignore!

I worked there, it's not a scam the inbound number is 08081450369, the outbound is different by one digit. You may have silent calls as it's a computer that calls hundred of numbers. The first person to pick up, it connects to an operator. The whole of Halifax bank/ Birmingham midshires use this number and ofcourse they may sound evasive because of data protection they can't start giving details out why they're calling until they verify you're the correct customer and will ask you personal questions.

And regardless if you're over due by 80p you'll still get a call or text
