Report a phone call from 08081450360 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- Derek6 times in last 4 days, no reply when I answer. Caller hangs up.
- JellybellyCall to our home landline which my young daughter answered, the caller said they were from the Halifax and asked to speak to my wife so my daughter said she'd get her at which point they hung up. I rang 0808 1450360 and got a recorded message stating that the call had been placed from a representative of Lloyds banking group and then cuts off.
- Caller: Lloyds / Halifax?
- And.1| 1 replyI just had a call from them, and they said it was a personal banking matter with Halifax - I told them that I don't bank with Halifax. I didn't confirm my name and the female caller said in order to have my number taken off their calling database I need to confirm my number, I told her she had just called it. She said it was an automated system and needed confirmation of my number to take it off the system. I said I don't give personal information over the 'phone. She just said 'goodbye' and hung up. Strange - why would they need confirmation when they have just dialled it and also got my name correct (even though I didn't tell them that they had) Scam springs to mind !!
- Caller: Unknown overseas
- And.1I went into my local branch of Halifax this morning to ask if the number which called me (08081450360) was from Halifax banking - this was following a call from that number the previous evening asking for personal details for confirmation of who I was and to discuss a 'personal banking matter'. - The assistant checked and confirmed it was not a Halifax Banking number. She also confirmed several other points in relation to if the genuine Halifax bank would call you - points which I will not show here. The number 08081450360 is not the Halifax despite the caller claiming to be from that organisation. I have this morning reported this to Action Fraud online My local branch of Halifax have also noted the number to investigate further. Never ever give personal information out to a caller, however genuine they may seem. If concerned, call the organisation back but only using a number that you know (From a bank statement for instance) and only after a few minutes once you know the line has cleared and you can hear a dial tone before calling.
- GRIMREAPERScam number, do not give any details or even answer.
- Annehave had this phone call umpteen time a day and night! 1.30am & 3 am.
When called back on one occasion, identified as Lloyd Banking Group -at 3am?? When caller asked for some ID, challenged with tell me which sort code/account number you are calling about was told caller couldn't give these details due to Consumer Protection - I told them unless they gave me those details, then I would not divulge mine and hung u0.
Bloody nuisance calling day & night, on landine and two mobile numbers why can't they take the hint and p... off!!- Caller: Lloyds banking group0

- wendyCalled and said they needed info. and that they were from Halifax
- Caller: halifix
- louiseJust had a call from these claiming to be Lloyds bank . When I asked where they were calling from they said manila!
- number33If someone calls you claiming to be your bank and asks for your date of birth then simply give them the wrong date. If they then say that doesn't agree with their records then you know they are genuine and you can then give them the correct date and continue the conversation.
If they don't say the date is wrong but continue to ask for information then you know it's a scam.
It's possible that this number actually does belong to the LLoyds Debt Collection service and some of the calls are genuine but that doesn't stop scammers from spoofing the number and pretending to be them to get your security information. - JackieJust had a mobile call and didnt answer then some woman with a Philippines accent phoned my works number saying they were from Lloyds Bank, she asked me my date of birth and post code to which I didnt answer. Be very careful people think this one is very much a scam.
- AndyThis number has been calling me two to three times a day for the past few months.I never pick up.

- Davidthese people are not from lloyds, I went to my branch and they do not recognise the number.

- cu| 1 replyI have had several calls at home, work and on my mobile over last 3 days claiming to be from the Halifax. Halifax confirms thaey have not been trying to contact me and know nothing of this number. It is clearly a scam. I will now just tell the caller I am contcting the police and see if that has any effect.
