Just had a call from this number, they said it was <some name> and wanted to talk about my services.
Me: What services
Her: Erm...Sky
Me: Oh Yeah....go on then (twigging it was rubbish)
Her: As a loyal customer you are entitled to some discounts, I just need to verify your details. I need your full name
Me: XX XXX (She had already given me that so no hard to tell it to her back)
Her: Now the first line of your address
Me: I don't give that out, you obviously have it so you tell me it
Her. Yes I have it here but I can't give it out
Me: Oh well, too bad
Her: Goodbye then

got 2 calls today to my mobile from this 08433770119 number, but didn`t answer.
decided to google the number as previous owners have done, although i didn`t speak to anyone it  stinks of being a scam

I always answer the phone in Welsh, followed by "I'm sorry I don't speak English". You can almost hear the pain in their voice as they try to engage me in conversation.

Just rang me again (have had several calls a day from this number) they never leave a message and the line is silent, sometimes left open, blocking my phone line, odd.

08433770119 called me 5 times between Friday & Sunday.  Don't know who they are as I have caller display & don't answer.

As above, received a call while half asleep on the sofa, from a very well spoken south african girl claiming to be from Sky. She said as I was a longstanding loyal customer I was eligible for some special discounts as a thank you. She asked me to confirm my name & address which I did, then when she asked for my Sky password I woke up & smelt a rat! It occurred to me that if they got my password then they could access all the email on Sky's servers which might well have included some payment information. I immediately logged in & deleted everything just in case. Easy to be tricked when you're tired after a hard day. Definately a bunch of rats!

Called twice today havent answered, just looked here, glad i did.

Might get hubby to answer if he here next time.

He's answered several calls lately where they say they have received a message about a problem with computer, says he hasnt got one, no lie he hasnt, i have, but we have received message, then he gets shirty with them.  beware of these calls cant give a number they always come up international, which i never answer.

Just checked back on phone and the same nuber phoned twice on sunday at exactly the same times.  Strange or what

This is Sky loyalty department, so say rewarding you for being a loyal customer, but really trying to get you to add something onto your service and offering just a few months discounted!

same here, just now. said i hadnt set up an account password, so they wanted my mothers maiden name, when i said i didnt want to do that then he asked me to tell him the first 4 digits on my sky card, i said no and he hung up, he knew my name and i gave my address and postcode before the alarm bells rang. as you say, bad enough though !!!

It is Sky  asking if you want removing from their marketing sales and to leave a message if so.

Just called me to see if I am eligable for upgrades.
Started by asking my Name, and then wanted my sky PASSWORD for my account. when I refused he got stroppy and asked me to confirm other security details. I refuesed. He could not do anything until I gave him these details. I refused as he called me, I did not call him

I am fed up with being called by this number and then the phone being silent.

This number has been calling us for a few weeks now. Everyday... and twice today (Sunday). I dont answer calls that I dont know the number and wish they would just give up. I think its disgusting that ANY company telephones you on Sundays, give us a break!!! If it IS anything to do with Sky and if it goes on much longer Sky will be getting the sharp side of my tongue!!! lol

Just had one of these.  I could clearly hear a busy office in the background, I said hello twice ... nothing, then they disconnected the call.

Annoying ... Careline if you're listening, train your people better than this!  Or maybe you pay peanuts and end up with the staff you deserve ... keep them to yourselves.

I reported this number in August. After a three-month gap, I have had two more silent calls from them today.
