- ridesbynightNot nice people, they are out to scam you so be warned. Stopped my caller in his tracks when he said it would only cost a pound for p/p and told him I had had a lot of calls from his company and others like him and had to put it in the hands of the police. The phone was put down at a rate of knots at his end.

- Alan T.I had same call and two conversations.. The second included the fuel offer.
The caller, a man, said that the fuel voucher could be used as cash-back.
Also there was no ' hidden agenda' Well knowing there's no such thing as a free meal.
I'm glad I 'googled ' the site.- Caller: Private
- LawrenceMy mum just had this call, I took the phone off her when I realised they wanted her bank details when you should never have to give your bank details over the phone, asked the girl for the company name.. Told her I would research it & she very rapidly hung up... Don't be so stupid people!

- SarahHad a call yesterday claiming to be from Sapphire magazine giving the usual spiel about a fuel voucher. Refused as I have seen this thread before and I never give out details over the phone. Just had a call again offering a £10 fuel voucher but this time claiming to be from Motorpal, googled the number and guess what? The same as Sapphire!!

- Antigua498 replies to ME GROUPThis is a bile of b*******s. Just received a call from this number to a mobile that I do not give the number out. Only 2 people have that number, my fiance and my boss. I do not even know the number off by heart. So how the hell did you lot get it? Especially as you "don't cold call".
- RhonaBeen ripped off by the company calling themselves Sapphire and offering free 14 day trial of new magazine and petrol vouchers etc etc. By the time I received a letter from them 14 period gone and a month on I have had nothing from them. Not even the magazine! They took the 79.99 and won't refund me as I didn't cancel in the 14 day period. How could I when I had no contact details, besides at the time I stupidily thought it was kosher.
Been so daft. How can these people live with themselves!- Caller: sapphire
- Ted replies to ME GROUPSome Welsh chap rang me from this number today. I manage contact centres by the way. Upon answer there was what could only be described as a party going on in the background. I was informed that I had taken part in a survey on Tuesday 16th Sept and that I was due a £20 fuel voucher. I was then asked what fuel type my vehicle used. I enquired about the date of this "survey" that I was supposed to have completed (I don't do tele surveys as it's a data mining exercise) and was told again that it was on Tuesday 16th Sept 2014. Now even if I had consumed some mind altering drug and had decided to break the golden rule and answer survey questions, there was another snag...I wasn't even in the country on that date.
To state that you don't do cold calls is laughable, and a blatant lie. I have no dealings with your company, I don't do online or telemarketing surveys, in fact I don't do any type of survey, and I've been subscribed to the TPS for around 15 years. Please stop giving the outsourced contact centre industry a bad name, and stop your blatant bad practice. - kimi just had a phone call of them practically the same as everyone here. it was a very noisy background so loud that i believe it to be a tape as background noise, the person was welsh and had said i had won £20 worth of petrol vouchers. I was onto it being a scam straight away and i have sent it on to watchdog and tagged them in this group to to see how many people are being affected the more people that contact thou the better chance of it being put on the show and to stop people who are old / young and people with additional needs getting ripped of by these scumbags. also people share it on your social media pages i.e. twitter Facebook page and tell your friends and family about it.
- Caller: i am unsure due to her speaking very very fast
- PJust had a guy on the phone. Again as previous comments Sapphire Magazine he went though the whole blurb. the mag survey and fuel vouchers all for £1 which would cover the postage. I think I could hear noise in the background which I thought was a family home..
I asked him to e mail all the info so i could read the small print to which he replied that wasnt possible alarm bells rung louder
He gave me phone number 08435070707 e mail cancel@sapphiremembers.com address Unit G4 Capital Business Park Park Way Cardiff CF3 2PY
I asked him loads of questions then i googled and found this site.
The shame is these people are probably employed very casually ie no sales no pay, It wouldnt surprise me if these people calling us truly believed in the whole scam before they started doing the job. I wasnt nasty to the guy just told him i thought it all sounded rather dodgy. He did try to keep talking so I put the phone down, saving his phone bill and my time.- Caller: sapphire
- JaneI do night work ,and this number is sometimes ringing me 3 x days.so I am having broken sleep,I cannot turn my phone off as I have an elderly mother ,who ring me if I needed, she 87 ! Every time I ring this number I get no reply,I wish I knew who it was so I could ring them up when they are sleeping , I am tired as my sleep is disturbed on a daily basis. I have asked them on many occasion to stop ringing my house .but they still ring up to 4. X a day
- JoanI've just had a call from me group at my mothers house on her landline offering me £20 free petrol. I wasn't in as I'm 55 years old and haven't lived with my mother for 38 years!! How the hell they connected me to my mothers house after nearly four decades I'll never understand. It's a good job they did not ask for her as she would without a doubt be sucked in to their scam. They are rinning me back this afternoon so I've put my mum straight on the matter and told her what to say to the bloke, none of which I can repeat!!!! Blooming nuisances the lot of them, they should all be prosecuted.
