I've been called loads by this company over the past weeks - most times I've ignored the call and let it go to voicemail. Today, I picked up the call (I was expecting another call) the guy introduced himself and said he was from 'Sapphire' and he was responding to a survey I'd completed, I told him to take my details off their database and hung up. Two minutes later, I had one of his colleagues call me with exactly the same script - I lost it ! He was told, in short time, what I thought. I've now raised a complaint with the Information Commissioners Office, the more people complain the more likely something will be done about this and other companies. I was surprised that this thread is over 12 months old, hopefully someone in authority will take action shortly.

I am going to go bonkers soon.  TPS does nothing at- all; what's the point?  I don't answer but due to the fact I'm not well, these calls are really stressing me out.  People just use call screening, don't answer, don't bother!  If you do answer then off they'll go and then they're on a roll!  Wish idiots like these could realise the impact these calls can have and (*&5 off!

So glad I checked this site. I told them I didn't have my wallet on me at the moment but I told them to ring back tomorrow because I really could do with fuel vouchers. I've had them call before and said the same thing but they never called back. I  also did the survey for them a while ago. I distinctly remember the same guy called Pazer from Cardiff doing the questionnaire that rang today. The other time it was a girl. I'll tell him where to get off if he rings tomorrow!

I too fell for this £1 scam expecting a £20 petrol voucher and first issue of Sapphire magazine.LUCKILY MY BANK -  NATIONAL WESTMINSTER'S FRAUD DEPARTMENT GOT IN TOUCH WITH ME AS THEY WERE SUSPICIOUS OF THE 2ND TRANSACTION £79.99 AND STOPPED IT   .!!!!!"THANK YOU NAT WEST"!!!!!.   Why at my age do I still believe someone would give me £20 petrol voucher for free. LESSON LEARNED   I checked out Sapphire magazine and apparently it is a lifestyle mag. for lesbians which was not mentioned.   I was given the phone number 0843 5070707 as the customer service number regarding the scam call.   Just done PHONE NUMBER SEARCH on this number and another blog has popped up from other people who have been scammed.

As I have worked in cold sales (face to face) I usually feel sorry for people doing surveys.   NO MORE.  No matter what they say they pass on your details to anyone who wants them.   Have spent valueable time today cancelling my Debit Card and will have the inconvenience of waiting for a new one.

HOPEFULLY ALL BANKS WILL BE AWARE OF THIS NGI AMUSEMENTS COMPANY (0844 5671020) AND WIL NOT PROCEED WITH ANY PAYMENTS.

they just tried the same scam om me and they asked me If i had anyone else in my family who drives I told them no. Then they put the phone down. If they ring me again I'll just threaten them with the police

just had a phone call, wanting 1pound and I would receive a 20pound voucher if I would give my credit details , as if , get a real job and stop phoning.p.s and the saddest thing was they gave all there 1pounds to a cancer organisation , sad.

Got a call today from a young man in Cardiff saying that I'd filled in a survey last Friday and that I was entitled to £20 in diesel/petrol vouchers. His accent was a little strange.

I'd bought a new car last week and asked him if he was calling from Fiat? He hesitated and said that they wanted £1 postage fee. I got suspicious so said 'No way....'.

I have received a call purporting to be from Sapphire Magazine offering free voucher and wanting to discuss other issues. The worrying thing is that he had my name and telephone number, saying I had completed an online survey, which I have never done.
He said he was based in Cardiff.

Got a call from someone called Tracy saying I had completed survey and asking for £1.00 for postage. Told her I was not interested and not to telephone back. I NEVER give debit/credit card details over the phone unless I know who they are.

This number is calling me at least 4 x   A day it's driving me nuts.

Had a call offering £20 petrol voucher for £1 , 14 day cooling off period for a monthly magazine, I stupidly gave my details and gut feeling instantly regretted it, I panicked and cut off call, they instantly called back.  I. Contacted my bank and proceeded to cancelled my card.Today (10.10.2014), they rang back, I told them I knew it was a scam, they then cut off call.

Yes I stupidly gave permission for £1 postage  to be taken from my bank to cover postage for a £20 petrol voucher to be sent to my partner only to find 2 months on 79.99 had been taken from my account I have reported it to my bank and they are treating it as fraud as I have not received any goods or services hope these scammers get caught.  Ive learned an expensive lesson...one I couldn't afford to learn please be aware of this scam

I refused to give them my bank card details and the gentleman called Jonathan Summers or his second name starts with S. Was insisting. The magazine needs to train their employees to stop making customers feel like they are being harassed. I filled a survey willingly but am not going to give any company my bank card details.

Got scammed from this number, wish I had seen this website first! Saphire members . com is registered with the following details, cannot believe he operates under the name  'Me Finance' ! there is also a mobile number further down the details so he may get a few calls about the money he has robbed from us!

these details are the web designer not the [***] who is scamming us! seemed genuinely concerned when I spoke to him.

the web designer chap appeared to be very concerned that his name was being associated with fraudulent telemarketing scams. Maybe he can put pressure on the real villains.
