got a call from that number today at 6.05pm and listened to their music for one hour before they hung up.so looking forward to them calling me back.i think this type of cold calling should be banned so i'm going to hit them with verbal abuse,hope that works.cos fxxk all else seems to!!!

Received a call from a young lady representing 'Royal and Sun Alliance'.

I just said goodbye and hung up and funny enough it's NOT the company's telephone number!

This number rang at 6pm today my answer machine picked it up it went straight onto hold music saying "thankyou for your patience, please hold the line and one of our operators will be with you shortly" this went on for 10 minutes then hung up.

This number called 18:30. Polite man said there was a change in financial legislation and that now everyone was entitled to have one balance cleared! He then asked how many credit cards I had, I told him I had one. He then asked if I cleared the balance in full each month, I answered yes and he said he would leave that with me and said goodbye!

Called this morning and Michael asked if my home insurance was due. When i told him it wasn't he seemed surprised and then asked if i had heard of PPI. I told him it was sorted and we'd got a fat cheque. He said thanks and rang off. Couldn't make out the company name.

this number called me at 10.47 today and was still telling me i was in a queue an hour later !
i called my phone provider (Virgin) and after much pleading they helped me out and disconnected the call, but low and behold they rang again later !  I tried ringing the number to instruct them to take my number from their lit, but it was constantly engageg !  GGGGGGGrrrrrrrrrr
I am reluctant now to answer my phone incase it is them again.

Been having these calls for a while now,lasting 10 to 20 mins,just with music and some woman saying thanks for my patience,an agent will be with me shortly.But the last strw was on sunday while I was trying to watch the match,I was connected to them from 15:16 till 16:03.Have complained to TPS,giving them the other number they use too.01274663293.When I try to 1471-3 them,I get a tone as tho the number doesnt exsist.

you should complain to TTNC and idiot director who supplies the number and calling facility to their bloody cold calling 'clients'

Got a call from above number several times but just get dialling tone everytime.Also get a call from 01274663293 and get the same dialling tone when I answer. Am getting fed up with these people calling as it is morning noon and night.Am a member of TPS so they should not be allowed to call so can anyone help to get these people to stop calling.

got a call from this 08446882753 was playing classical music with intermittent message "our callers are busy please wait ", - but note they called me. The music continued even with power off the phone and after hanging up. wonder if it's a reverse charge scam, power lights were going on and off and had to pull the plug out.

I keep being called by 08446882753 and 01274663293! Everybody's complaints about number not been recognised and busy lines are happening to me too.

Call at 10.54 am music and recorded voice thanking ME for holding still on at 1153am.Not Happy

My experience is pretty much the same as the other contributors.  Have received 3/4 calls over recent months. Sign them up to Blackberry!!

Had this number call us today at 16.38. At 17:20 actually got our line back as all we got was music interrupted by a voice telling me someone would be with us soon. Disconnected the phone from the wall and they were still there when i reconnected. Absolutely fuming about this - it cost me money

Got a call tonight " thsnk you for your patience one of our agent will be with you shortly" music -message music repeated for 20 mins, got bored hung up. They must have a big phone bill. LOvfL

My wife just rang, she got a call from this number, which put her straight on hold with music playing, and a voice saying an Agent would be with her shortly. She hung up. But when she picked the phone up 5 minutes later, it was still there. They were on for 20 minutes before she could finally get back to a dialtone.
