Some bloke called asking me to identify myself when I refused because he called me and wouldnt give details of his call, he then threated a debt collector would be calling at my door.  How dare he threaten me!!

the only thing you've got correct there is the company name.

The debt is still legally collectable after 6 years, they just can't take any legal action against the person liable if 6 years have past and that's only if no contact is made with the person in 6 years. So if your able to put your hhead in the ground and ignore it for 6 years fair play to you but it's 10 before it's written off.

They also don't purchase any debt, they're 3rd party collectors, they collect on behalf of the creditors owed.

If they collect on behalf of the company owed they why do people not know they have a debt? Why has that company not said 'you owe us this, please pay or your debt will be passed to xxx?? Why are they still threatening people with courts when in some instances the company have proved the customer doesn't owe them anything?

And why is it that several people are putting yous instead of you?!

Blatantly employees! May start a group on facebook to then get this on watchdog!

a little FAQ, - Kate this company cant and wont send balliffs as they work on behalf of companies for example EON. So the only people sending bailliffs would be EON.
The guy that said its a SCAM is a [***] he also supplied the companies registered number LMAO seriously think about that one.

The person that seemed to think that DPA was broken dont be stupid they confirm of the tel number is for that address.
If you get a call for someone else why ask question simply use your brain. EX DIRECTORY. In other words your number has been recylced by your service provider as this is the number provided to the original company ie EON, SKY etc. this Debt agency only use the contact numbers given by someone calling in or by the original Company IE EON , SKY , etc

The only people reporting this is a SCAM are the REAL SCAMMERS the people who run up debts and never pay them

You are clearly STUPID. This type of company cannot do this to you. Its shocking to say that your solicitor hasnt made this clear to you he must be as dumb as you. They are 3rd party collectors, they cannot take any action against you as the debt does not belong to them. They do not buy debts and do not own debts.

There is no point in your comments and you are creating lies against in my opinion one of the better if you could say that debt companies in the u.k.

My situation. I recieved a letter stating i owed £896 in regards to Scottish power letter advising i was pending court action. i phoned Scottish power they looked ay my account and noticed that my bills continued after i left the property, The girl amanda said she would resolve this. I phoned PDCS told them about my call and they simply took my details, DATE and name of person and what happened and said they will take this information back to Scottish power. 2 weeks later, a letter stating the issue was resolved and thanking me for my cooperation.

yeh they contacted me fishing for personal details dont give them anything. I told them to write to me they said it would take two weeks, I look forward to there letter. I would like to know whos leaking our information to them. I would love to see them in court.

had three letters from this company ,then a threatening phone call to take me to court about money being owed to british gas .i phoned british gas who said i do not owe them a penny.

This company called my parents withheld and ex-directory number told my mother how is 70 years of age that they were a medical company looking for me. Tried to trick her into giving them my current contact number and address. WHEN I CALLED THEM THEY DEINED IT ALL. Tried to tell me that the data protection act had not been broken, but when I told them it’s a £5000 fine to abuse this act. Also I had never given them my parents address. They then admitted using a search company, my father has the same name as me. I then asked them to explain clearly to me how they managed to get a hold of my parent’s ex-directory number and if that’s not a breach of this act what is. They then hung up on me, beware of this lying shower.

just had a call from this number they were very abusive and very rude!!! after explaining that i didn't owe any money they threatened to send me to court and i would be sent to prison for none payments of debts. Still trying to get through to them that i do not owe any money!!!! any advice people ive had about 16 calls in 4 hours!!!!

Past Due Credit Solutions, They're not a scam company, they collect on behalf of Sky too, as I unfortunately found out when I called Sky directly and was tramsferred through to PDCS as they were "now dealing with my case". Thanks for nothing Sky, 12 years service means nothing these days huh ?

I see PDCS have posted their own comments on here about how wonderful they are. However, the 0844 number they ask you to call is premuim rate and the OFT states in its debt collection guidelines that this is unlawful, the Protection from Harrassment Act also makes it an offence for them to keep pestering you for payment. Don't pay, contact the OFT and take them to court,

If we didn't get into debt then maybe companies like this wouldn't phone us. its our own fault, without companies like this we would still be in debt, get a grip!

You will never guess and maybe if you had brains and ACTUALLY checked, 0844 is NATIONAL RATE this is standard for a business calling over the nation. Im a SKY customer my tel number to contact them is 0844 2141414 . Oh my god , oh wait im not stupid this doesnt actually cost premium rate. because its not an 0845 or an 09 premium rate, I looked this company up on the CSA (Credit Service Association) before i decided to contact them. You have to be a member to follow all the legal shite and they have their landline number 0141 951 3666. it would have cost me more to phone the landline than the 0844.
