5 calls a day in the evenings and at weekends. They never give up!!

got a call this evening (as above)  claimed to be from the AA /special offer/etc,etc.  ask for date of birth.
I tried to complain to the AA but the lines are down with breakdown traffic.
I have emailed them with the simple ultimatum , I want a reassurance that I wont be called again or I cancel my membership within a week .

I had a missed call from this number a week or so ago and I called the number back. The pre-recorded message said they had tried to call me and would call back. The next couple of times I got a call, I ignored it because I had never heard of their company.
The calls have been very frequent and as it is becoming more than annoying now! I was going to answer one of the calls yesterday and as I went to my phone rejected it, I was most disappointed!
They call me at such silly times; when I am at work, early in the morning, late in the evening. It is getting beyond a joke now and I am waiting for the next call so I can give them a piece of my mind!

Would love to know who this is!! If its important leave a message or email me! Stop phoning me at work!

AA lol sales call 10 times today lol joke

Just got a call (6pm) and thought I would google their number. It was First Assurance on behalf of the AA, they asked me if I was a UK resident and asked my DOB, at that I asked them what exactly they wanted, I said I wasn't interested and that I didn't want to waste their time. Hopefully won't get anymore calls but may call the AA to see if they are handing out my information when I have expressly asked them not to.

I have been receiving calls from this number for some time now and two months ago become a member of the AA. I had a look on the AA site and noticed that the AA are now doing insurance as well seems like the AA are giving there members details to code calling company instead of sending out the flyer's in the post.  
If I keep getting the calls on Monday I will phone the AA and tell them what people are sick of calls.

Had the same problems as everyone here... seemed like AA etc... 3 calls a day till 9pm etc..

I started answering and just putting my mobile down so they just got background noise untill they hung up.... did this about 8 or so times...  havent had a call in a couple of weeks now.. may have worked but worth a try...  I thought "hey if I start costing them money, they may stop"

they have just rung me (it's 8.39pm), when i answered they hung up!!! how annoying!!!

Got a call @ 8.56pm with no one on the other side. I have no idea who first assist are or why they would be calling me so late in the evening.

its the AA trying to sell you sh@t they are a complete annoyance and will keep calling

seem to be getting several missed calls from this number and yesterday they decide to call at 8:45pm what a joke, dont they realise people actually have a life and would like to relax at home without being Interrupted lol

i've had this number call me  08450262531, So I called them back it's First Assist
every day for the last week up to 5 times a day .

These people (08450262531) have called 3 times a day over the last week, usually in the evening, and now today they have called 5 times already and it is only 3pm!  They never leave a message and the one time I answered they hung up straight away.

How can we stop them?

Minimum of 8 calls a day until 10:00pm!!!

Keeps calling - think I'll pop a letter round:

Had countless calls from these guys; ignored the first few as I'd read on here where the number could be from, then tried to answer it and stay silent until they said who they were. They just hung up!!! I really want to answer the next one and tell them what they can do! I agree with others on here when they say if it is the AA passing on details I shall swiftly be canceling by break down cover!

Looks like First assist insurance services are still calling, without leaving messages & if you do try to answer, the call is disconnected!! I'm getting up to 4 calls a day since the 20th April!!

I've emailed their customer Services to complain!   corporate.info@firstassistinsurance.co.uk   Maybe if they got enough complaints from the public, they might rethink their tacticts!!
