Report a phone call from 08450304416 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- sam replies to Curved Air Marketing SolutionsYou are acting against the spirit of TPS which only degrades your company and I doubt any respectable market research client would condone that approach. It is presumptuous of you to assume anyone would want to receive calls from you and an audacity to presume the responsibility for stopping your calls falls on the called. I now resort to an answer machine rendering yours and other tele-marketing companies activities useless.
- Andy replies to SteveWeb of Trust flags that site with a full screen banner as untrustworthy.
- CazI have had several calls from this company,I suffer from ME so don't want to be bothered by anyone.I have a private unlisted number so I don't know how they got my number.I am also registered with the phone preference service.

Best way to stop the "Debt solutions" Marketing is answer" FFS How much debt has the wife got me into Im going to knock her block off !!!" Doing this scares the hell out of the guy on other end and hopefuly this sinario never happens BUT its about time these people realise that this could be the result of a "Marketing call" - banjoboyI think maybe the TPS is selling phone numbers?

- Anthony| 1 replyUnsolicited automated market survey call on my ex-directory TPS registered landline today from 08450304416
The recorded began with a woman with a Scottish accent saying that I could press 9 to end the call and they wouldn't call me again (they shouldn't have called me in the first place!) Since this was left on my answerphone I couldn't do that. It then went on to ask "would you say that yourself and your family have become more aware of the energy consumption within your home?" and required a yes or no response by pressing numbers on the keypad. When no response was detected it repeated the question before giving up.
It sounds from previous messages here as though pressing 9 is a bad idea anyway, and the best thing to do is simply ignore the call, then lodge a complaint with the relevant parties.
The company was not identified within the call. I'm sure all calls of this nature are supposed to identify the company that is calling. At least this page lets people find out who to complain to, but only if they bother to search for the number.- Caller: Curved Air Marketing Solutions (unidentified in call)

- donald gortonI am constantly getting calls from 08450304416 only to find there is no one there.
- Annoyed replies to Curved Air Marketing SolutionsPerhaps Curved Air Marketing Solutions would like to answer the posters on this site by commenting here in response to the following:
1) The fact that you were the first to post on this page with a "preemtive strike" against any complaints shows that you must have known, before you even started, that you were going to be annoying a lot of people. Did that not trouble you?
2) You point out that the TPS does not cover marketing calls. You have found a loophole that allows you to legitimately call TPS registered numbers. However, you must know that anyone who has registered with the TPS has done so because they don't want to receive ANY nuisance unsolicited calls, yet you ignore their wishes because you can get away with it. You are knowingly calling people who don't want to be called. Are you ok with this?
3) You claim that pressing 9 after the beep will remove the the number of the person being called from your database and you will not call them again. However, several posters on this site have indicated that they have pressed 9, sometimes several times, or opted out on your website and you still don't stop calling them. Can you comment on this?
4) Why do you not identify yourselves during the automated call? Are you trying to avoid inevitable complaints?
5) Do you use surveys to generate sales leads? If so, do you regard anyone who has responded to your survey to have "opted in" to sales calls?
6) Perhaps most important of all, where do you get our ex-directory numbers from and what checks do you do on those numbers to see if they have been opted in to or out of this sort of call?
I await your responses with interest. - Wisgi| 1 replyYet another total time waister. How do they dare phone ex-directory numbers.I do hope at least BT take a lot of money off them for their calls ,though I'm not a fan of BT either.

- WelshwizzardGot called by this number - but nobody picked phone up as call/message was recorded by answering machine. Same thing happened a few seconds later. Now I find that my latest phone bill has charged ME over these two calls (20p for the first and 15p for the second). How can this be??? WATCH OUT!! This company and theit ilk a fcuking plague. Check the information commissioners website as they ARE bound by Regulations covering direct marketing calls!!! It should not be up to us to have to opt out each time/with each company. It is up to them NOT to call people who have registered NOT to receive marketing calls. CURVED AIR _ GET LOST!!!!!!!!!!!

- Welshwizzard replies to WisgiSEE MY MESSAGE ON HERE - WE ARE THE ONES PAYING - PLEASE CHECK YOUR LATEST / NEXT BILL JUST IN CASE YOU WERE STUNG LIKE ME.
- Welshwizzard replies to AnthonyPLEASE SEE MY MESSAGES 08 June. TALK TALK BILLED ME FOR BOTH THE INCOMING CALLS WHICH WENT THROUGH MY ANSWERMACHINE BOTH TIMES. BEWARE!!!
- Ally| 1 replyWho are these people? I am registered with the TPS and shouldn't be receiving calls like this.
- Welshwizzard replies to AllyCurved Air Marketing Solutions and similar organisations seem to get under the ICO's radar by claiming to be undertaking market research surveys rather than Direct Marketing to the people they call up using automated dialling equipment. In a way they are trying to collect Marketing Data and then selling that data/information on to their existing or new Clients.
As far as I can see, these 'Survey' companies are really acting as 'AGENTS' for businesses that actually want to sell you their good or services. Businesses like Curved Air Marketing Solutions SHOULD therefore be included in the remit of the Information Commissioners Office (ICO).
In other words, if you are TPS registered, whether ex-directory or not, you should NOT be receiving unsolicited calls from ANY marketing company without your express consent. - WelshwizzardFurther to my recent posting on here re. CLI Recall Charges associated with marketing calls from Curved Air Marketing Solutions and similar businesses - I have contacted my telecomms provider (TalkTalk) via their on-line Members Forum. From looking through some of the posts on there, it is clear that CLI Recall charges that should NOT have been made is not an uncommon problem.
I have not received a detailed reply to my complaint as yet - those TalkTalk employees who monitor the Forum only work Monday-Friday apparently. With the ever increasing nuisance of so-called telephone marketing surveys and the use of subscriber answering machines to intercept such calls makes incorrectly applied CLI Recall charges a particularly worrying phenomenon. I would urge you all to check your itemised telephone bills regularly and (if neccessary) direct your complaints regarding inaccurate call charges back to your telecomms provider asap.

- RichThe opening defence is stunningly cheeky. Just picked this automated Scottish voice up. First impressions count don't they? Bad enough it's un-solicited, but then listening to a robotic voice just adds insult. Infact the opening "defence" rather than making matters okay for them, instead makes their case for calling even worse still!
Essentially trying to defend the indefensible aren't they. They allege they are not covered by the TPS rules and so have a legit right to ring up, yet just because you can do something does not mean you should. They know this, hence the weasly defence at the start here. Quite truly pathetic.
IF YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO ME,THEN A HUMAN BEING FROM THE START PLEASE!!
I didn't even waste time finishing the message and deleted it as soon as I realised the person wasn't real.
I'd say they have not even got basic marketing skills here, having set out to sound so reasonable and explain themselves, and instead made themselves seem amateurish, intrusive, dis-ingenuous, and on top of being a nuisance call, making a horrific first impression.
Definitely worth reporting in strong terms to BT without doubt.- Call type: Telemarketer
- RichHaving just re-read the opener, and the last line saying sorry for any inconvenience caused, well really!
It's a bit like being mugged in the street, and the mugger then turning around to you afterwards and saying sorry for the inconvenience to you. WELL DO NOT DO IT THEN!
It's that straightforward.- Call type: Telemarketer
- litigation replies to DawnI'd like to know how they got my x-d irectory number and wil be asking my MP why they can avoid TPS. SO just a crime instead for nuiscnce calling?. Why there isn't a human to ask or just hiding behind automated messages. For every one of the companies I could win money for is another one avoid....So Marks & spencer if you don't want to lose custom then do something about this phone pest!
