I will be also writing to M&S director telling him that I have stopped buying from M&S as they use annoying and unethical suppier.  As of yesterday I keep clear of M&S. They won't earn a penny from me. They would spend it on this annoying nonsense.

I haven't used the 'opt out' option on their web site because I've already opted out via the TPS and they should have checked before phoning me.

Message on my BT answer service asking me to press 9 to cancel.  I am on telephone preference service.  Have ignored and deleted off answer service, dubious about pressing any number if answer call in future in case of being transferred to premium rate number.

I reported the unsolicited call to the Direct Marketing Commission. As I am registered with the TPS my complaint was referred to it. They are taking it up with the company and if they dont get a satisfactory response the Information Commisioner will be advised.

I recommend that others do the same to bring this company to book.

Complaints should be made direct  to ICO (information Commissioners Office) as they are the enforcement body who can investigate and take the company to court.

They will then investigate the complaint on your behalf.

Called again. Their opt-out proceedure didn't work - I opted out previously. I'm ex-directory and TPS/FPS, all of which have failed.

Same as all the other subscribers. Purporting to be market research with the option to press 9 to opt out.
Its time the telephone companies put a stop to this but as they make money from the calls they are not likely to.

Many people here are wrong. TPS and such won't help. There is a legal loophole. They can bother you because it is a mchine calling you, not a person.  

If enough people complain directly to them maybe they will get fed-up and stop. Go ahead send them your complaints as many times as you want:

If the problem persists, email your MP to request that the Secretary of State for the Ministry of Justice investigate and if found guilty punitive fine this company.  Recent legislation means that initial fines are very large and get larger and larger.  This compels companies like this to conform to acceptable practice.

In addition you could email the Police at Action Fraud to investigate their activities.

You could also email the HMRC to investigate the company.  It is likely they do not keep accurate records.  As this would show them ignoring best practice.  Accurate records would allow the correct VAT to be paid.

If you receive goods or services as a result of Curved Air Marketing Solutions contact the companies involved and let them know their unscrupulous activities are bringing them into disrepute.  If you receive M and S vouchers let M and S know of their activities.  M and S and reputable companies do everything to protect their brand.  It is like a dodgy market trader selling hooky meat and giving out a M and S.  Associating good brands with dodgy activities gets the legal eagles of the big companies active.  Did anyone say they received Coca Cola, Pepsi, General Motors, Fiat, BMW, M and S vouchers?  If they believed they did in the message, please let this big boys know.  The quality of the message was so poor that I think this is what they were offering.

Play the marketing systems, Chums.  Use the power of the big marketing brands to grind this tiny marketing fish into fish paste.

Reporting them to TPS is pointless. TPS complaints only work with a legitimate company.  Scum like these can just ignore it - there is no law that can stop them wasting your time.  "Reporting" them to TPS is just more waste of your time.

I stand corrected.  I received an email from the TPS saying "market research" is outside their remit.  I further received an email from the Direct Marketing Association (DMA) saying "Curved Air Marketing Solutions" is not a member of their association.  If people want to email Curved Air Marketing Solutions, I suggest the email is in the form of a "market survey".  The question is "Should market survey companies use people or automated call systems to phone numbers registered with the TPS?"  Clearly those of us with access to software that generates vast numbers of emails could take direct action and survey those Curved Air Marketing Solutions email addresses listed above.  I think if such people do exist they should take the moral high ground.  It might be an idea to amend the email header return address to a Curved Air Marketing Solutions email address.  I am not condoning such action but if you have been phoned at all times of the day and night it might drive one to desparate measures.... Have not had a phone call for a few days now...Do you think these vile scum are getting the message.  It's the aged, the dying, the disabled, the sick and their carers I feel sorry for.  These people need to get through to medical and care services.  They need their phones.

Reported to TPS.  My skype in number is registered and has been for a while now, so I'm not at all impressed about receiving these calls.
