Taken by my answering .Doing a survey - press9 to opt out (I don't think so! ) Bleep followed by a question about which room do you use most often in your house. Press 1 for bedroom etc. " Did not get your response " Question repeated. Same response. Then hung up.

You can zero rate these pests here. Endless calls from these idiots and pressing 9 does nothing! Grrrr!

1) A Curved Air company phone up with a survey

2) Later or on another day a Hot House company phones to sell you overpriced rubbish saying you completed a survey (pressing 9 does not work so you complete the survey they say)

3) It's an old scam that TPS and DMA don't do a damn thing to prevent.

4) NEW Legislation is required to allow consumers to opt out of marketing and survey calls as well as sales calls.

5) The current remedy is to e-mail them asking them to remove you from all lists and to cc the ICO.

6) Then to inform the ICO of a data protection breach when they contact you again.

Called today by this number - automated recorded voice with prompts to press different numbers. I didn't pick up. It filled my answerphone and it still didn't stop. Had to unplug phone to cut them off.

I'm on TPS. Makes no difference to them.

Just had a phone call (with a real person) from someone who claimed to be from Christies responding to my attempts to get rid of thie spamming bunch of telephone bum fodder.  Drew the caller's attention to the very negative views being put forward about this type of  spam calls completely disregarding  TPS registrations including mine and that according to one person writing on here they are submitting their accounts late - do they really want to be associated with a company like this?

This number has called me twice to conduct a survey.  I have already registered with TPS to try and prevent these unwanted calls.

In the last 3 months I have receved this call at least 70 times on my work phone. Very annoying, when I have other work to do. Over last weekend they called my number 10 times, once just before 10pm. I have a call log on my phone. Surely this must be stopped, it's an intrusion.

Received a call from 0845 030 4436 saying if I no longer wanted calls from them to press 9.   Believe this must be a scam - asked me to complete a survey and be put into a draw for £50 of M & S vouchers.

I just had a call from this number but i didnt pick up. Msg was left an yeah, market research and can win £50 just press 9...well i just pressed 3! : )

Just this minute i had a miss call from this number. Glad I didn't answer the phone. What I don't understand is how they got hold of my number as I have only been with this number since a week ago and my parents are the only ones who have my number and I am ex directory.

I just been called by these people and it held onto my phone line for 5 minutes, I couldn't make any outgoing calls, I hung up, went to make a call and found the 'survey' still running grrr. I'm Registered with TPS so thought I'd register a complaint with them, got a mail back essentially saying since it was market research they couldn't do anything about it, TPS are a waste of time.

Had a call at 9.30 this morning - pre-recorded message with a garbled introduction then starts asking questions on the house referring to home solutions. Put phone down, picked up, still on their about pressing buttons and press 9 to opt out.

Total waste of time and space. Do these calls actually generate any business - legitamate or not?

I received an automated phone call from 08450304436 at 16:42 on Sunday 28/08/2011. Since it was clearly a marketing call, I put the phone down. I have protected my number from spam calls but don't know how to get them stopped when they do occur. Please can anyone help.

Just had one from this number at 20:16 interrupting my evening.

Some recording of a Scottish sounding lady rattling on about Mac's. Put the phone down, but hitting the hands free button periodically (waiting for my line to become free again....grrrrrrr!! ):( ), caught something about Marks & Spencer vouchers.

Probably a(nother) scam. What's the point in even registering with the TPS?!
