I got a call from this number today, if it is British Gas, why are they calling me as I left them 5 years ago and I have also changed my telephone number since I was last with them, which is ex-directory, and I am with TPS.

i think its one of those small mobile phone companies trying to get you to swap tariffs - they call multiple numbers at once so if someone else answers before you they'll just hang up on you. luckily i've got a block list on my phone and they're certainly on it! get about 5 calls a day.

I am getting repeated calls from this number but it is silent when I answer. I am not with British gas, I live in a block of flats which are electric only.
I am registered with TPS and had no prblem for over a year though since I moved my calling plan to Sky Talk, I seem to be getting these calls.

Got a call from this number today. We have a strict policy of never answering these type of calls.

I have had numerous of calls from 0845070027. I never answer ...but we recently switched from British Gas to Scottish Power and by the sound of some of the above opinions it may be British gas!Im also on the TPS list but still getting these annoying calls several times /day:(

I have started getting calls from the number and have yet to pick up. I am not a British Gas customer but I'm not sure these people are in fact British Gas.

I had nuisance calls from another company who seems to have obtained T-Mobiles customer list. Is anyone else from T-Mobile?

British Gas are the scum of the earth for calling my work mobile every day this week even though I have no business realtionship with them.

I get called by this number on average 3 times a day! I do not bother answering now i have seen this site and you all say its British Gas! I have never had any business with them and do not want to either!

They are calling me every hour, I never pick up. I'm not with British Gas.

Offering to beat anyones prices and an extra 10% off.

Seemed suprised when i told them not a chance will
i ever be returning to them. No matter how cheap they are.

just had second call in 20 minutes from this number. answerphone picked up first one I got a nice recording of multiple people at call centre trying to sell products. I picked up the second but nobody there just background noise of call centre.

Getting about five of these calls a day, not going to answer as I don't know who it is, if it is British Gas, then it has stemmed from changing my supplier through uswitch, makes you wonder if this is the source.

They are ridiculous - I get it all week evenings and weekends too. Has anyone managed to find a number who they are? They never answer so I can't even tell them to Foxtrot Oscar!

Three more calls from this number last week.

I have been receiving calls from this number for about 3 weeks between 2 - 4 per day; i came across this site whilst doing a search on the number, to find that i am not alone in getting these nuisance calls!
I phoned British Gas today (had to wait 25 minutes to speak to someone)and asked them if this is one of there numbers, they said yes it is their sales department; i told them to remove my details from there database and that a lot of people are complaining about receiving these calls which is doing their company image no good; the guy said that he would pass my comments on to the relevant department. I just hope that if enough people do this, then this pathetic practice will cease.

I've had it more than 10x today, it is British Gas Sales Dep. Can't people club together and get these called banned?

I also got a call from this number and they didnt answer! They also called me from the following number - 01312201351 again with nobody there to answer and nobody picking up the phone! i am currently leaving scottish gas, so i suspect this is related!

I had a silent call from this number a couple of days ago.  I'm switching from British Gas to another supplier, so I guess they are trying to tell me why I shouldn't leave.
