I had this calls for last few weeks, more funny is that they want to speak with someone how own the house over year ago and this mobile number has never been own by this person. what a crap!! there must be some legal barrier for it! Mobile number is a personal data (as others asked for)there must be some law protecting our privacy and peace thought ;o). Maybe we should seek legal advice or give a group complaint not individual hehehe

I had numerous calls from this number, I called it back witholding my number and it was saying " You were called by British Gas on a Non-urgent matter, we will attempt to contact you in a few days"  although they did leave number to contact them if you did not wish to receive these calls, but it actually takes 28 days to become active!

I've been called by this number at least once a day over the past few days. Sometimes there's no-one there when I answer - once there was someone in a call centre, who didn't quite understand that while I'm at work I'd rather not spend 20 minutes justifying why I DO NOT WANT to switch providers right there right then. Grrr...

i have received more than half a dozen calls from this number in the last couple of days - i am in the process of leaving british gas so reading the above comments, i can deduce that is why i am getting the calls - but as they hang up after a few seconds whats the point of the calls anyway - weird!!!

This number has called my mobile a few times now but this number starts with a +, that is +08450700827. When I ring back ther is an error in connection.

08450700827 called us every seconds that we have no telephone here and have checked display caller system via fax machine. Callers are so really so stupid themselves dishonestly, disgustedly and DISGRACEFULLY.

I think it is a cheek to call without a message - if it is British Gas they should call during normal hours and not at random times on a continuous basis.

What exactly is the point in using these 0845 numbers to call anyone. BT sell these numbers for consumers to contact business not other way round.
I cannot get to the phone within the two rings I get when called and number hangs up everytime I call them.

I rec'd one of these calls today - I am ex-directory and registered with the TPS and I am definitely not a BG customer

have  a missed call from this no 08450700827 and I am not with British Gas at all... look in the web site and realise it is an ongoing nuisance since last year.

Just had a call from British Gas Sales Team offering me cheap electricity.

Why would I want to double my problems. British Gas is expensive and their Customer Service totally useless.

I have saved the number (and a couple of others) in my phone and given it a name "SPAM - Do not answer"

I've had 5-6 calls on my mobile from this number over the past couple of weeks.  I dont answer 0845 numbers that show on my mobile.

Received caller from above number - not even anyone there to speak to.... nice .... idiots.... they woke up my poorly sleeping baby ... when they phone again they had better get ready for some heavy abuse!!!

Recieved a call from this number and when I answered, there was no-one there, so I hung up...two second later the phone rang again, answered it, and BG was asking for money and I have never been with them. I just gave them a large amount of abuse.

JUST HAD 3 CALLS TO ME MOBILE IN THE LAST HALF HOUR WE DON'T EVEN HAVE GAS - THE WHOLE VILLAGE IS ON OIL!!

Finally answered this bunch of jokers who have called on no less than 10 occasions over the past week.  

Told then I'd not go back to British Gas if they were the last supplier on earth and were giving it away.  

Then told them to f*ck off and not to call me EVER again.
