This company is also active in Nottingham.  They called me once too often today so I've reported them to the Evil Sheriff - I mean the TPS - but I fear they may have taken refuge in Sherwood Forest, lol.

This number keeps calling, no voice-mail message left, if I ring back to see who it is there is no reply but after a long while get a recorded message which includes an apology and a request that I should try later  but no clue as to who it is.

Just had a call from this number, asked for a Mr Jones (Not me), and when i said they had the wrong number, he said nothing else and hung up.... No 'oh sorry for the inconvienience' etc...

Just hung up, getting a lot of calls off different numbers from people just hanging up on me when they have the wrong the number.

I think you'll find it's NES for Nationwide Energy Services.

They just called me and I'm in Leeds so would say this is a nationwide call centre. Not even sure how they got my number as I'm mean't to be ex directory but they managed to call my mobile. At least having read this thread I can ignore that number when they call.  Thanks

Caller introduced herself as "local government grants officer" before starting to talk about insylation. I stopped her by stating (truthfully) that my house had been inspected for grant possibilities last year. Afterwards it occurred to me that I an TPS registered and should not be getting this call. When you call the number no one answers

My phone logged a call from this number when I was out - I am TPS registered too.  Don't know who and I'm not ringing back.

Call from 08451113111 - didn't answer it (that's why we have an answering machine - if they want to talk to us they can leave a message, right?). I shall now mark it appropriately on my telephone list.

it from some company who claim to reduce the cost of all your energy bills, think they call themselves save me monry, my husband gave them the number and they call 5 or 6 times a day, i never answer and they never give up, think they would take the hint by now. also call off 08451113111 and 08081810000

Got several calls from this number. She ID'd herself as calling from the Nationwide Advisory service, had my name and address, said I hadn't claimed my government grant for reducing carbon emissions. Told her she was talking rubbish and not to call again. My advice is either keep a high pitched whistle by the phone, or just put the receiver down and let them blather on. They soon get the message.

I'd be VERY wary. There are a LOT of companies in South Wales calling to collect data to resell under the guise of surveys etc. They called me and I was not impressed as I'd asked them not to before. I complained to the ICO this time.

Keep getting calls from these people no messages left who are they does anybody know and more importantly how the hell do I stop them from calling.

Just had a call from these, he said "Good evening Mr........." I said "Yes it is" and put the phone down, :) ,then checked the number on here.I'm with the TPS and if anybody rings me up and says "Mr"  especially at 7.30 at night I know there trying to sell me something

I didn't catch the company name, something advisory, but got the offer of government grants, from a Welsh sounding lady.  Told her I was registered with TPS, and she started arguing it wasn't a sales call, and then cut me off.

Reported to TPS.  They may not call me again, but they will surely call others if not stopped.

Hi just to let everyone know I used to work as a telemarketer which ok evryone will hate me now but what happens is places like this and others ie gas or elec companies or mobile companies either get peoples numbers from the phone book, internet if company or for mobiles make up numbers and eventually one number will work. Never give bank details as companies ive worked for have ripped people off, changed company name etc and never put details on internet sites unless u trust them. If anyone wants anymore advice send me a message

called today at 12:30, said they were a government organisation dealing with grants.

I'm in Edinburgh and just had a call from 08451113111 at 2034 this evening.  I answered thinking it was my mum (one of the few who still calls me on landline).  He asked for me as Mrs whatever which is always a sign of a sales call so I just asked who was calling.  He said something I didn't quite catch apart from 'government' and 'property' and then he asked if my property was still on Whatever St.  At that point I asked him where he was calling from. His response was to hang up.  I googled and found this thread.  The accent sounded more Nigerian than anything else.

And were rude when I said I wasn't interested.  Shouldn't bother people then should they!  My number is supposed to be barred from these callers.  Get fed up with them all, don't usually bother answering won't in the future.

Received a call at 20.09 last night (09/05/11) Daniel said he was the local Government Grant Advisor. I said no thanks and he attempted to say "how can you say no when you don't know what I am calling about" at which point the phone went down.

Had a spate of silent calls recently all between 7.00 pm and 9.00pm.
