Called today at 9.05 am.

Demanded to know why we hadn't taken up offer of government grant available on the house. Seems to be from local area. Almost a bullying tone to his voice.

I received a call today, 24/3/2011 - web site they quoted to me was www.nesuk.com, which does exist.

Sent e-mail and rang them also on freephone number. Told Customer Services Manager that I was reporting them to OFCOM and TPS for cold calling and misrepresentation. Also suggested that I would make a claim against them in the County Court for the cost of wastage of my time if they rang me again. Apparently now taken off the list! Would urge everyone to do the same on 0800 6335769.

Said they were from Nationwide Energy, and was enquiring why I hadn't used my "grant for insulating your house". Tried to make it sound like it was something official.

Mentioned I was TPS registered, and they hung up on me.

This number rang us up this morning. It's not a number we've encountered before (We are TPS registered).

When I answered, no one replied. Presumably an automated system and no one was able to take the call. Which is just as well for them, really :-)

Called me this evening. Claimed to be Government Grant Advisor. When I challenged the caller which govt dept he worked for he side-stepped and said I was eleigible for a grant. Asked to speak to supervisor. Explained I was member of TPS so the call was an offence. Explained that the caller was at best hiding the truth, at worst lying outright. Explained that we should be removed from his database immediately. Rather enjoyed my rant t him!

They've now started calling my fax machine line!   Someone should close down these pests.

Just got a call from this number but my 4 year old answered and because she was asking questions before passing phone they hung up on her. Tip: get the kids to answer the phone lol

Had two missed calls from this number, ringing at 8 a.m. and 8.30 a.m. this morning.  Just came on here to check out who they are.  I am also on TPS.  I guess I wait til the next call and then blast them.

They phoned me today when I was out, if they phone back I am going to pretend I work at a Chinese and can't speak English!

This man called and when I said that I do not give out personal details over the phone became very rude and abusive

Had a call from this number this morning, got the dial tone when I answered, so obviously an automated thing. I'm TPS registered too, but it doesn't stop these annoying calls! Grrr.

These guys called today, said something about being government grants advisers in my area and that a government grant for insulation has been approved for my address.  I couldn't help laughing. My house is brand new, and has just about every insulation you can think of. When I said it was a ludicrous suggestion he said "Oh, so you've had a grant already?". Just had surname address and a whole pile of cheek. Sounds like a scam, avoid

Had call 10.30 this morning about home insulation grants - caller had my name and address and asked for confirmation that I owned the property which unfortunately I gave. I became suspicious and asked caller to write to me with details of grant but he gave me website www.nesuk.com and then hung up on me. I checked the phone number on 1471 - I have had nuisance phone calls from this number before, apparently doing market research although I am TPS registered. The website this caller gave does exist and appears to represent a company based in Swansea - the caller had a Welsh accent.

Keep getting calls to my business line - when I answer can here callcentre in background but no one speaks and they just hang up....

Got a call from 08451 113 111 on Sat afternoon 9th April 2011 at about 4:30. They rang while I was out. No message left.

Call received this morning - no message left on answerphone - I too am registered on TPS. At least we have full address details kindly obtained by others on here, as I found out (whilst trying to complain about another caller) that the TPS/OFCOM complaint form won't let you send an online complaint unless the name, address & E-mail address (!) are known for the offending caller. Not a very user-friendly form, as the last thing you want to do when receiving an unwanted call is to enter into a long conversation with them to find out this info(I certainly don't!).

it time people started sending 'envelopes' of 'complaint' to Ofcom they are clearly in bed with the marketing industry are have absolutely no intention of doing anything about these [***].

08451113111 has phoned me about 20 - 30 times in the last month, they asked for a guy that does not live here. I said "what company is this" and they said nationwide. They then asked me if I was the homeowner and I said no. Want them to stop phoning me immediately!
