Oh of course Jade, that's the beacon of light that will save us. We must follow and register and pray and all will be harmonious once more and there will be no more cold calling ever again.

Before we all rush off to do this, perhaps you could tell us how much it costs?  There are some companies out there which say they will stop cold calls for a fee.  Unfortunately, they can do no more than TPS, which is free.  In fact, both are pretty useless.

This guy called me after 8pm tonight, on a Friday evening, then guessed the wrong surname and he sounded well dodgy (perhaps [***] or under the influence of a substance) He tried to convince me that I had a grant for loft insulation in a house that has just been built( with no loft). He won't even listen to me or take no for an answer.
I feel this is harassment and I wish the police could do something.

Just had a call from this number 12:47 on a Saturday. When we answered it they just hung up. I am certain they have called before. At least the number is displayed in caller display unlike many other nuisance calls where the number is "unknown or international" so there is the ability to report the call.

TPS is a free service, so at least we are not paying for it not to work.  TPS works with reputable UK sales companies who do not phone registered numbers.  Rogue UK companies ignore the rules and we need to report their calls to TPS, just registering does not stop calls.  Market Research calls are not covered and, obviously, overseas calls cannot be stopped.

Call me 3 to 5 times a day - Its very annoying

Had loads of calls like this,Kevin last night.said they were based in Thornton Heath .told him if I get any more calls I would take legal action.watch this space.

Two calls this morning from this number asking for previous house owner. Told them they moved out four years ago. Do they not listen when you tell them you are with TPS and not to call again??????

Had call from 08451113111, asked for me by name, how come? Said I was out and they would call back, gave name as Clare Horton. Is there any way to stop these without cost?

Sounds like indian call centre just tell them you want the grantthen they hang up.

Friday 20.30 call  nationwide / Grant / used my surname / put reciever down / will they never go away !!!!

Persistent blighters.  They say they are Nationwide energy something.  I told them that I am with TPS but they persisted.  I feel a complaint to TPS.

Got a call from this number, he asked if it was me then hung up.
