We had our number changed, my wife refuses to answer the phone, we're registered with TPS and ex-directory and should not be getting this sort of crap anymore, but we're getting it at the same time everyday, never leaving a message or anything, surely this sort of activity needs to be stooped, its damned annoying.

just received a phone call from this company who ever they are they need to remeber that we are people on the other end of phone if we spoke this way what a telling off we would get.
they first asked for a mrs being a daughter i said she was out then they asked for a mr well unless they answer phones from the grave i doubt it.

The company using this number is Nationwide Energy Services and their website is http://www.nesuk.com/ I can only apologise if someone has caused you a problem by mistyping. Sorry, don't quite understand your post, you seem to be advertising Mr Wilshire's services. We all know what this company is like and the fact that they ignore TPS screening and removal requests.

Just got a call from this number - didn't answer as on another phone.  Now seen posts on this website, so will not answer if calls again.

I had my loft done by Nationwide last week, free and fast service can't see what all the fuss is about?

I suspect you work for them, so please stop trying to defend the behaviour and repeated cold calling to TPS registered numbers.

TELEPHONE PREFERENCE SERVICE (TPS):

- No prosecutions for the 18 months to April 2012, despite 2,000 complaints per month!

- Some cold calling companies make vast amounts of money by not abiding by the TPS regulations. They even just use ordinary telephone directories. They do not fear prosecution, as none ever happens.

- The TPS does not apply in one situation. If at any time in the past a service or product has been taken (for example, financial advice) and consent was given to being contacted in the future, then that company -and companies associated with it- can legally make contact, despite registration with the TPS. That company can also legally sell these details to other companies.

receiving regular calls from this number although i have told them to stop

I have had calls from this number each day this week, I haven't answered it...yet.

Hi ,so pleased that when you pick the phone up & put it back down that it messes their system up ,this is what I do all the time on our caller display phone !! ,just had a call from these idiots at 8-40pm .

These people called me to despite being TPS registered. They also have a free phone number 0800 408 9000. Have tried it a couple of times - nobody answers but it goes thro' to a message saying they are experiencing telecom difficulties and please try again later. It costs them every time someone rings and their answer machine kicks in. So I shall keep calling them. They may or may not ever answer (if so they'll get an earful). If not, it will cost them money. If enough people phoned often enough we could cause them the sort of pain they cause us.

I am registered with the TPS and they keep ringing me.
