This number has called me 6 times in as many hours. Luckily I have a TruCall machine that deals with these idiots. After their first call and not recognising who they were, I zapped their number, then came on here. Now every time they ring, the machine tells them that I am not interested in their call and cuts them off. It doesn't let the phone ring so I am not and down lke a yoyo answering bloody nuicance calls.

Just had a call informing me there was no-one available to connect the call, but due to UK regulations they had to leave a recorded message - which advised their number was 08451469372. They actually called from 01922 420057. They call so often that number's in my phonebook as "Spam1" - earlier in the week they tried calling me eight times within the space of four hours. I just let my answerphone handle it - let the machines chat to each other...

keep getting calls when i pick up the phone no reply how can i stop them .

just had a phone call from homeserve thats two today but this time someone spoke to me
i told them to take me of their data list or i would im form the police for harassment i think
so if they ring you try it.

Really sick of this. I'm on TPS too... And yes, I did have a new boiler installed a month or so ago... What about people who work night-shifts? I've already been called twice today. I know the people at the call centre are only doing their job but I wish they would just f*ck off.

Received about 5 of these calls this afternoon approx every 45 mins - I have been working from home, and it's very intrusive. They seem to know my first name too, which is also worrying

Unsolicited commercial calls leaving the 08451469372 as a contact point. The caller Id number shown when they dial is 01214561165 Three calls in the space of 3 hours. So far they haven't got so far as announcing their (homeserve) company name. When they do I'll tell them I'm blacklisting their organisation and not renewing existing policies that I have with them.

One of our sales people based in our Harlow office is being called by this number about 5-6 times a day!

I called the number back (08451469372) and the company is calling themselves HomeServe which I believe is a maintenance company.

I was asked to hold to speak to an agent, but I didn't hold!

We keep receiving recorded messages on a daily basis asking us to phone back without them saying who is calling.

I had one of these calls today...no idea why they were calling and i got the same message as everyone else! thanks god i didnt call it back! i do feel like answering and telling them not to call me again! is that wise??

I had a call frrom this phone number but it rang three times only. We could not speak.

17th nov 13:02 call from 01922420057 to mobile. funnily enough, actually have a gasfitter fitting a new boiler in the kitchen this week.. hmm.

it went to ansaphone, womans voice, something like  "homeserve called you today ... uk regs ... we have to notify you of our call our number is 08451469372 but we'll try again"

I received a letter from Yorkshire Water offering me one month's free insurance through Homeserve.  I then received several 'silent calls' before I was in to receive a call and realised it was Homeserve.  I said NO and Don't Call Again.  I have had 12 more calls to my home phone number plus three letters.  The most worrying thing is that I have just starting receiving calls to my mobile (2 to date) and I don't know how they got hold of this number!

just had a call from this number, i never answer strange calls , unless thay are from a normal bt number, i will never answer or ring an 08  / 09  or anything else . people should use real numbers. a strange number that goes dead when you pick it up usualy costs you £5 . check your bills.  i know this from experience.

I wouldn't recommend this.  When I was young (and for a VERY short time) I worked in a call centre, cold calling people.  Of course, people done this quite frequent on me but I loved it, it meant it was building up my average call length (which each caller is assessed on) and I didn't have to speak to someone about something I couldn't really care less whether they need or want!!  Cold callers aren't doing this job because they feel passionate about what they're selling....it's because they really need the money at the time....probably!  And after they've had enough hanging on the fone without being talked to, they're just going to pop your number back in the pool because it was an 'unfinished call' & someone else is going 2 call you back some other time!!

What people should do, is be polite and say that you WANT them to remove your number from their calling list.  By law they have to do this when you request it & always remember these calls are kept recorded for a certain time after they occur.  However, chances are if one company has ur number it's out there somewhere for lots more to get hold off. :(

Not sure who they are but there automated calling system kicked in onto my voicemail and connected a representative to my voicemail.  Lovely :)
