Have had numerous calls from this number and each time they hang up after a couple of seconds

got three calls from this number, no one on the other end when I answer

I am getting a little distressd with this number ,rings me 3 or 4 times daily but when i answered it no one answered me so I dont answer at all now .
Cold callers should be trung up

This phone number kept calling me for more than 12 months. I have never answered because I had a feeling that this is a scam, but today my curiosity won :)) and I have found out that it is a scam as I though :) A guy asked me if I remember that I have entered a competition and I said NO, because I never do, so he said that he remembers this. What? Who cares, I don't. And then he asked me questions about my adress and about who's paying the bills and at that moment I was sure that is a scam, so I told him that I am not the one who is paying the bills in the house. So he hang up the phone :)))) He also told me at the begining that he's from eon, the energy company.
Conclusion: don't waste your time and money to call them them back if you have a missed phone call from this number!!!!

Got a call from this number I did not speak heard background noises but no voices.

just had this  number  rang. telling me that i have entered the competion to win a thousand pound i hung up i  have now found out its  e on  enegy company and its a scam

Been called several times by the aforementioned number on my mobile.
Person asks to speak to a ficticious name (Mr Bailey) and then asks for the one who deals with the gas bill.
When told it must be a wrong number as I have never given my mobile number out except to friends and family he said he would keep calling until he spoke to the person who pays the gas bill.

20 + calls in 30 mins  no reply when I answered the phone bloody pain in  -rs-

No messages here since Jan 2009 but I got one the other day... not sure it it's the same people or not...

Just got a call from this number on my mobile but didn't pick it up!!!  I don't pick up numbers starting with 0845 anymore at all!!!!! Or any numbers starting 08 even!!!!

I got 2 calls from this number today, I answer and they hang up.  I'll be expecting them to keep calling i suppose.

I was called yesterday at work y this number and a woman asked to speak to my wife- I said she hwasn't here but could I take a message- the lady said no, I asked who was calling and she said it was a personal matter then hungup- unbelievable- who can you complain to about this?

I have been called 4 times today by this company, including twice in less than 10 minutes!  Not to mention numerous times in the past few weeks.  They never leave a message.  I think I will answer the next time and chew their ears off!

just checking this number on internet, phone as just rung, person asked for a Mr Grubbs, dont know who that is, told him if you are a call centre to delete us off and to F OFF, P OFF AND GET STUFFED.
Hung up, and did a 1471 guess who it was, yes the eon number, next time just leave phone off the hook get something loud, ie squeeky toy, whistle or recorder and send noise down the phone.  Operator just laughed.  so if any eon reps are looking for business they will get a lot of verbal from us.

just as I sent this message phone rang again, so got a squeaky toy,, my phone is off the hook and my dyson noisy hoover is sending a noise down,   will they now take the hint.

Got a call from this number and once again no message left.
