E.on are a nuisance. They persuaded my partner to switch, claiming they were cheaper. I checked out which?online, they are in fact dearer. I now cannot get through on this number to cancel aaaaarrrrg. They have door knocked several times and the answer is still NO. I will hope they don't contact my current supplier to cancel them. I am very annoyed. It should be made a criminal offence to do this to people. Call type=NUISENCE. I asked B.T to stop these sort of calls. My partner is a softtouch i'm not. I can't believe this.

Called and then immediately hung up. Should be shot.....

they rung this morning when they told me they were Eon I put the phone down.Had 5 missed calls this morning and  10 this afternoon I picked up the last call and the person on the end was having a conversation with someone else. I told them if they are going to call me at least speak to me when I answer. I then told them not to call again.

Yes, the company is Eon.  The caller first told me they were calling "everyone in my area" and then asked for my post code! When I refused to give him that, and challenged him on how he could call anyone in "my area" if he didn't know where I lived.  When I told him that we were on the TPS, he then said that I or my wife had entewred a competition and given our phone number.

We would not dream of having anything to do with this company since it tried to rip off my nearly-ninety year old mother a few years ago and it only stopped a fraudulent claim after we started legal proceedings.

I wish someone would stop this annoying calls from 08451550228 there a pest and I don't know where the hell they got my number from in the first place I only give my number to family and friends

Do what I've just done and send an e-mail to EoN's CEO:

telling him to have your number removed from the database in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1997.  I'm sure that if he receives several hundred e-mails, he'll get fed up with it.

Got yet another call from this number but when answere they just hang up!

Phoned up saying I had won an iPad in a comp I entered, I politely told them they were telling lies as I would *NEVER* enter a competition for one of those annoying toys (an Android one yes, but never one of those sub-par bits of iJunk LOL), they rudely told me I was rude and hung up, only to call back a hour or so later to try the same scam.

Added them to my mobiles block list.

This number has so far rang my pay & go mobile a total of 6 times

Called 21st @ 14:46
OMG they gave me 2 days rest!
Called 23rd @ 16:36
Called 24th @ 18:49
Called 25th @ 19:04
And this number has only been activated a few weeks!
And it has NEVER EVER been given out to anybody!

You can contact your supplier b4 the 28 day time period for the change over elapses & revert it back to your previous supplier
As i did it with British gas then found out there robbing sods so changed it back a week after signing the forms for change over

I am not happy with you calling me all the time. I want you to remove my mobile number and stop leaving a voice mail and hanging up on me. I am not interested.

Constantly keep ringing when asked how they got the number as its an unregistered PAY AS GO number they hang up

just keep ringing,them and many others but i know who the others are :)

These A***holes call me all day, every day. It's Eon, and it makes no difference whether i answer the call, or just ignore it, they still keep ringing me. I have tried being polite, and i've  sworn at them as well, and they just don't quit. I'm just waiting for them to start knocking on my door, then i'll find out if violently assaulting them works.
