Also had a call from this number, no one there. Called back to confirm its Eon and they ask you to leave your details to be removed. Lets hope I dont get any more, althought i'm not convinced!!!

They called me up asking about bills and electricity when I don't even pay for any... Then he tried to ask to speak to the bill payer. I DONT THINK SO, sod off. These people and their scams. The funny thing was it was really loud and busy in the background and he kept avoiding my questions.
I asked why he was calling.
I asked who it was he wanted to speak to.
I told him we wasn't with EON yet he still was eager to get information from me.
Then the rude prick dropped the line. [***] off with your [***], really pisses me off!

Usually never answer this number, but next I will giving my companies name when I anwer.
This is what I do to persistent callers, works everytime

Rang at 1942 last night, didn't answer. They shouldn't be allowed to ring after 1800hrs. Oh well, another number added to the barred list on my phone! It's getting rather full.

Called us a few times now and every time we pick up the phone they put their down, was particularly annoyed the other day when they rang as we were waiting on news of someone who was gravely ill and it did nothing for our nerves.   Apparently it is EON and because of this BT don't consider them to be nuisance calls which is crazy cos anyone who calls you and then puts the phone down when you answer is a nuisance.   All I can do is contact EON and tell them what I think of them and vow to never use their services but can't see them losing much sleep over that, it would take a lot of complaints for it to bother them.    Putting it down as a prank call as there is no category for nuisance calls

Just took a call on my mobile from this number, which seems to be active as a call and disconnect for some time now, based on all of the other comments.

The lady never got a chance to tell me who she was, where she was calling from, when the phone disconnected from her end....

This stinks very much of a scam, whether or not someone is doing it from a legit company... I would imagine vodaphone have sold my contact details on, because I always give a completely bogus telephone number, either one digit too long or too short, when entering competitions... I do give my email address, so if I win something, they come direct or I can re-direct 3rd party mailings straight to my junk mail.

doesn't OFCOM have a proper procedure for this? errrr NOPE!

they just slammed the phone down, how rude. I might cancele eon, as i suspect its this company

i keep getting phone calls from this number everyday non stop. i told them im not interested and not to ring back again but dey keep ringing me. its annoyin and causing me 2 much stress

they have called me loads and i have answered like 5 times and nothing they just hang up, i called it back once and it came up as a number for Scottish power :L and they keep calling and have been for a couple of months.

Just received a call a second ago from 08451550228, not noise they were just holding the line!  I unplugged the phone for it to disconnect and 1471 and got this!   Annoying Gits!   If old Truecall was cheaper! Then none of us would have these problems ever again!

its a scam once you answer whoever it is on the other end can access your sim card and use your details to make calls and send texts
