calls keep coming at various hours of day and night, after reading on here its an energy company, i just ignore them, but still they are annoying lol.

Just rung and then hung up

Just had a call from this number, it is Eon, I answered and they just hung up,what is the point in calling.

This caller keeps ringing my work number and hungs up. When call is returned, automated message asks for details to be left. I have not requested anything from EON. I work for a public organisation. The calls are now a  nuisance.

Just got a call saying ' Hello, you know that competition that you entered?' then the line went dead.

Just had another call from this number,it is E-on I have told them before I am not interested but they still keep ringing I wonder how many times it will be today.

Are they trying to raise money by hoping people will call back.
I suppose some do.

Just had a call from this number, I don't answer calls when I don't know who is calling so they are wasting their time!

the number 08451550228 called my flat today but i was at work,my flat mate answered and the person wouldnt leave or give a name,they asked for me by name!,which is strange as i Never give out the house phone number and im ex directory...when i phoned back the number its E-ON..energy,i have never autherised these people nor anyone else to give out my home number which is now annoying as its been happening for weeks

I've just had a call from this number too. I could hear a male voice very faintly in the background saying "hello, hello...." and then he rang off. He clearly couldn't hear me. Irritating time wasters!

I've had this number call me 2 days in a row now, after seeing what everyone said I will not be picking up and I will be blocking the number

As others, its Eon, they ring the mobile, no one there when you answer, they ring me twice a day, been going on for the last week now. Someone should take them to task over this.

Tell them that you will inform the energy ombudsman of their cold calling, and despite being requested to remove you from their cold call database they are still persistant in constantly calling...............they get fined from the ombudsman, especially for silent calls.  Oh, it is EON too, someone just called my mam and argued with her on the phone because she doesn't wanna change to them.  Idiots
