    08451550228 keeps on calling me and when I answer there is no-one there.  They even ring and leave a silent message on the answerphone during the day!

    They keep calling me, and the times I have answered they don't speak, and so I've stopped answering it and it always goes to voicemail, so then they leave me a silent voice message. This is very annoying as I don't give my mobile number out to companies like this, its for family and friends to contact me only, so how have they got this number and how many hundreds of times will they call me before they give up and leave me alone!!

    they called me too.
    i'd missed there past 5 calls and decided to finally answer. It was a woman from e.on electricity and gas asking if i payed for the bills ?  i said no and then she said ok and then said bye. Weird i think.

    I have spoken to this company today after they had been calling and calling me.
    I suspected that they were not in fact EON, so I asked them for their address they refused to give the address but did admit that they were not EON.
    I had already asked them to remove me off the database several months ago but the calls started again, so was very angry with them. They did not take my complaint seriously and I will try to progress this with some ombudsman or other.

    I had a phone call from this number while I was out. They didn't leave a message on the answer phone. 1471 told me there number. I will not return 0845 calls.

    now i know its eon ill be answering and they better believe they will be hearing from me..im a customer with them and i cannot stand cold calling of any kind..its rediculous im also with the tps so much for that...

    same as again already having the same calls from another energy saving company!
    scottish power...you would think that they could save time and power themselves by simply not calling a billion people numerous times a day...but then if i had a boring job such as the ones they prob have maybe i would end up being a complete tilly swat myself!!!

    I have had a series of calls from this number and now finally having managed to speak to someone they are an energy savings company pushing single or dual fuel savings. They really push EON and as you may see if you choose any of the comparison websites that EON seems to come out on top for most people. The only problem is with this company is that they do not take no for an answer and keep calling back at least 3 times per day. The are not supposedly EON – a la calling the EON Customer Service line – but EON were not really that interested either!

    If I wanted unsolicited phone calls I would paste my telephone number on Facebook and YouTube and invite anyone and everyone to call me just to see what they could try to sell me!

    This practice needs to be outlawed – its just telephone based Spam or Junk Mail!

    This number called me today, I answered they said "Hi, I'm an engergy advisor from EON" I said I was driving and couldnt talk. Before I could finish they said "ok we'll call another time" and hung up. I will call and get my details removed. I assume if it is EON they're trying to get people to switch energy suppliers.

    0845 1550228 called today again looking for a mr. arnold..after telling the lady she couldn't speak with him...she asked when she could..told her i wouldn't know that as I told her last time she called no such person has ever lived here..she then spent the next 2-3 mins telling me she had never called here, how would I know she had...I shouldn't be so rude...
    this needs to be stopped, here in the midlands we seem to be getting more and more calls like this I get calls myself from 3 different numbers...

    This dam number has rang me every day not for the past week
    They never ever leave any message on my answer machine (COLD CALL)
    Surly we can put a stop to this illegal thing there doing!
    Its harassment and so dam annoying!
    If i wanted to have my elec/gas with these ppl i'd already be with them
    I'm happy with swalec there pleasant and always helpful and never ring me and leave cold calls
