weatherseal keep calling then hanging up, call their promotions line  0800041041 to complain  as no other route  seems to get to them

Get a caller display phone - the best thing I ever got.  Make a note of the number and don't answer - they will give up their nuisance calls eventually.
If you answer they know it is a valid number and will just keep calling.

called at 1.50pm..................I answered & was asked if I was property owner.....said I was.........asked if I would like replacement windows......................my reply......... NO I F****ING don't!!  I work nights and have TPS!! Don't call again!!!!!!

They hung up!

Have just rushed to the phone to answer another call from Weatherseal.  The last time they 'phoned I called the number back and went through the automated process of supposedly removing my number, but to no avail.  I pointed this out to the caller who said it would only remove my number from the Glasgow office and I needed to call my phone provider!  Nearly lost it at this point and asked for the number of their Managing Director so that I could call him on Sunday afternoons and see how he liked it!
I wouldn't deal with this firm if they replaced every window for free - are their marketing people plugged in at all?

iv just had this number ring me at 11.42 am but missed the call rang it back and messege said they were weather seal????? they said they would call back later. i dont get this as im supposed to be ex dir.

They pretty much call me on a daily basis claiming to be from Weatherseal. Apparently they have opened an office in the area, claiming that they are offering free windows and doors. I asked them how they got my number as I am XD and TPS registered and he said it was randomly generated.

So it was amusing the next day when they phoned, claiming to be a different local advertising company, that have been given a big budget. They wanted to know whether my home was a semi, terraced, etc, when I said that I wasn't interested the rude woman on the other end of the phone then barked "you could just answer the question... "Love ya" and she hung up.

No speech phone call

Just had a phone call from them asking loads of questions about our house that didn't make sense. Said they were doing a survey. More likely to see if they can rob your house!

Despite asking to be removed from their database continue to receive unsolicited calls

Similar to others.  Call, a couple of beeps and call terminates. 8:10pm on 1st July 2010

Checked by phone log and saw this number - thankfully I have set up my phone through the free of charge Asterisk telephone server and I have all 0845 numbers set to go to a recording of the BT fault tones followed by the 'There is a fault.  Please hang up.' message.  This normally stops a repeat call from a number.  Devious but I hate these cold callers so much - they ignore my TPS and ExDir status and call anyway - that I spent a day setting this up to get rid of them.  It was worth every second of my time.

Damned nuisance, keep phoning my house asking to speak to the householder, obviously selling something, probably a bunch of scammers looking for old folks to steal their life savings.

Just had same number phone me. Couple of seconds silence initially, then ringing, then call cleared.
Dialled 1471 and got 08452639001.

Phone rings, when answered there is silence and eventually hangs up. Checking caller display gives 08452639001. This is happening 2/3 times a week.

i am tps registered and still receive calls from this number frequently

Just had a call from this number and I said "Hello". There was about 7 seconds of slience then they hung up. Why bother? I think they may be either:
A) verifying an out of date telemarketing database or
B) they are trying the old knock and see if anyone's in trick and if not, burgle the house.

I am ex-directory and on TPS too. However some simple research on the internet will reveal the valid telephone number ranges for a lot of towns so then someone can just ring up every number in the valid range and TPS and ex-Dir. will never prevent that.

Keep receiving phone calls from 08452639001 (Weatherseal) I think. Anyway had to laugh when I looked on their website - 'Weatherseal - The Pride of The Nation'.. Unfortunately they dont seem to have any pride, just abusive phone reps!!!!

This number calls me several times a week.  I have caller display so don't answer it.  Such a nuisance.
