asked how i was coping with the bad weather,I told the fine and hung up

i just got a call from them about 17:30, same as ususal silent and when called back no clear indication just a bland answering machine.

Reported it to OFCOM as it infringes the code of practice and so should everyone on this thread

Have been called twice by this number and found out it was Weatherseal. I got their 0800 041 041 freephone number from their website and called back to ask them to remove us from their data base as we are ex-d and TPS. The girl was very pleasant and took my number, saying that she would send it to head office to have our number removed. She explained that we might get a few calls over the next 7 days as it takes up to 7 days to clear the system. I'll wait and see if things improve. I also filled in the TPS complaints form and hopefully by doing these two things we'll see an end to the pester calls.

I think whocallsme.com should contact this company and show them the amount of complaints on their website about this cold-call marketing. I don't think this kind of negative marketing is going to do any good for their company profile in the long term.

These [***] are phoning me every night when I answer the phone they hang up its driving me mental.

Been called three times by this number, including once within the last hour or so at the time of writing. The first time I was woken from a nap (most annoying because I work shifts) and tried the number back to be told it was a company called Weatherseal offering double glazing - of course, since I rent the property I'm currently in this was no use to me so I hung up. Was tried again earlier this week and tonight, both times the call hung up after I answered. The landline was only recently activated so I have now registered it with the TPS but it doesn't sound like that's helping anyone else here...

Call early this evening -'Thank you for taking my call' - Im not taking your call says I and hung up. At least this call can be traced, many other calls just now that just click and go silent -  TPS registered so goodness knows what life would be like without being registered!

I got 'You were called today by a company using the 'Call commander dialer'. It is a marketing call and no need to worry, I'll try you later".

Oh no you wont - added to the call bar list!

Second call this week, nobody spoke when I answered/

Twice this number has phoned while i have been dealing with a screaming 6 month old baby, and twice they have hung up when i got to the phone. Very frustrating.

Just had several threatening and abusive calls from this mob from their Aberdeen office it appears.  First rule of threatening people - make sure they don't know where you're calling from and make sure they don't know the call centre business inside out...

I was called by this bunch tonight. I am TPS registered. It was a silent call and they just hung up.

I get about 4 calls a day from this bunch... driving me mad. Also ex directory and tps registered...

have just called the 0845 number back and if you keep listening you get an option to enter your number to remove it from their system... have done it and hope it works!!!

Called and I replied "hello". Caller hung up.

Yet another call from these people.

Despite being TPS and everything else, I became so fed up with these falsified caller ID calls I set up a small and amazingly cheap phone exchange using Asterisk software (which is free!) and I now send these calls to an automated message saying the number is no longer in service - normal calls come through without any problem and all this 0845/0844/0800 fake caller ID crap is discarded without even disturbing me - I just check from time to time and laugh at all the calls I've avoided being bothered with.

Frankly, it was worth the small investment and I now get to have phone extensions round the house and all the family get to make ridiculously cheap calls over the internet which is kind of cool.

Never again will I be woken up or disturbed by these inconsiderate and annoying gits !

I have had several calls from this number. Heard women talking in the background. I said 'Hello' and they hung up.

My husband took a call from this number just before Christmas and they asked if they were speaking to the man of the house and then hung up. Got another call today but didn't answer it. We are also ex-directory and TPS registered. What is the point of being registered with TPS if this is allowed to happen?
