- BillSilent call at 11:19. Nobody spoke when I answered. I am TPS registered .
- RayReceived call from a woman asking if I would like to take part in a survey. When I asked her where she got my telephone number from and that I was T.P.S. registered she said she would let her manager know then hung up very quickly.
- Call type: Survey
- JohnThe caller asked to speak to the homeowner of the property. I responded that I was the homeowner.
He then went on to tell me that I was the lucky recipient in my postcode area to have all my windows and doors replaced free of charge. I responded that I was not interested as I recently had new windows installed.
The caller then gave a big yawn and hung up without saying another thing.
What a bloody cheek !
I am also TPS registered.- Call type: Telemarketer
- WendyI have received a few calls from this number over the past few months, when I can be bothered answering, there is noise in the background then line goes dead.
But, today there was a human being (well that is debatable) on the other end, they asked to speak to the homeowner, when I asked who wanted to know she said "WS Marketing, you are the lucky..." at which point I interrupted and said to tell WS Marketing.....and the extrememly rude person on the other end hung up.
So WS MARKETING, if you must annoy people who intentionally withhold their phone number from people like you by being ex directory and TPS Registered at least tell your call centres to be polite.- Caller: on behalf of WS Marketing

- Joe HughsStarted to call me back again after months ago promising to remove me.
Sunday 12pm, claiming to be local company (lies).
Girls said she woudl tell manager to remove me after I stopped her dead in her 1st lien and told her I am Ex Direct and TPS, which in UK means nothing !- Caller: Weatherseal

- ShepherdessI'm interested to note that all these comments occurred December/January time - and 3 years ago. I've just been called by this number (I'm registered with TPS, exdirectory etc just like everyone else). When asking for their number, the operator gave me 01606 866500, which funnily enough also exists on this site as a similar nuisance caller. They have the same script, being insistent on speaking to the homeowner without saying who they are ("Feature Homes" apaprently, although the web offers a range of different names, but all pretty much offering the same service.) I have reported them to the TPS.

- Ann bjust had a silent call 5 minutes ago from this number. Like most of you i am tps registered and ex directory. Have been for years and years. Is there any way to stop this? Getting really annoyed now.
- Horatio GJust another log to say that this number found me yesterday despite being ex-directory & on TPS. Called whilst was out but found number by 1471.
- Caller: Unknown
- another victimUnfortunately market research calls are not covered by TPS.
- Sharon EllisThey called telling me I could get my windows replaced for free. When I said I live in house that is 6 months old, they just hung up without saying anythng - very rude

- ScottyI just received a call from this number, I said hello, and it instantly hung up. I could not hear anything in the background, so they either hung up at the exact same time as me, or (more likely) it was yet another automated call gone wrong, with no real person on the other end. Im getting alot of these advertisement calls on TalkTalk, but many people are saying that both BT and Opal Telecom (now called TalkTalk) can BOTH forward your number on to advertisers. Both companies have your number on their databases after all, despite who you may now "be with". I think once your number has been forwarded on by either company to an advertiser, they probably share it with many others, so even if you are on BT or TalkTalk's ex-directory list, its impossible to really stop these calls.. ever! :( :( :( Ive had similar calls all week, but never the same number.

- JaneJust got a call that my son picked up, asking for the senior of the house, my son put me on. Identified herself after a fashion as "Sophie". When I asked "Sophie from where" she never answered, just gave me this spiel about me "winning" the opportunity to get free new doors and windows. I then asked how she got the number as I'm ex -directory. She then had the cheek to make out she was doing me a favourby asking how many doors and windows I would like replaced!!! I told her not to phone the number again or she would be reported to the police and hung up. I then checked 1471 and up came this number. Am going to ask BT about this number and what can be done to stop them calling ex-dir numbers.

- Jane replies to coffindodgerYour number is maybe new to you but it will have been in use at some time in the distant past, therefore on the system.
- Scotty2I now have a phone that shows who is currently calling before its picked it up - perfect for ignoring these marketing calls.. but I just got a second call from this exact same number again (at 8.20pm)! I refuse to answer it the second time around. They obviously work late shifts at wetherseal (or whoever they pay to questionaire any potential customers). Perhaps Im going about the whole thing wrong-maybe once youve talked to them theyll strike you off their list.. but thats likely to be wishful thinking (and not a good recommendation if you definately DONT want to talk!)
- PaulUsual bs when called. I'm TPS registed and Ex Directory. Was told that their system was down and the odd number was slipping though. Looking at this post its been down since 2007. Called their head office got more bs. Next stop.....OfCom
