Report a phone call from 08452639001 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- L HowittReceived a call from this number asking to speak to the property owner. I asked 'Who's calling please?' and they hung up. Rude and annoying. I will be lodging a written complaint. I've previously asked Weatherseal to take me off their call lists and I've been ex directory and on TPS for 17 years. They have no excuse.
- Caller: Weatherseal
- jbhoyi called the number back and it said the company was weatherseal ?
- david| 1 replyjust got a call from weatherseal.
terrible company.
couple of my friends got a job there and left after a day because apparently they "dont deal with asians". at least the glasgow office doesnt.
btw - for all those on TPS, if you have written your phone number down on an official form (for you broadband supplier, TV service etc) have NOT ticked the box saying that you do not wish your number to be passed on then any company that gets ahold of your number from this data is legally allowed to call you, TPS or not.
also: don't ignore all call centre calls. sometimes it can be your internet provider/phone provider etc trying to give you a geniunely good deal. i used to work for an internet provider and the amount of people we would phone to give them a deal that gave them FASTER internet at a CHEAPER price only to be hung up on as soon as they heard us was, frankly, ridiculous.- Caller: weatherseal
- Bobannoying calls 3 to 4 times a day
- j pegkeep gettin silent calls from this number, it is very unnerving as i have two young children in the house and had/have no idea who it is that is calling, can they be done for nuisance phone calls, why are they not having the number suspended from them if it is BT that have given them the number, if it is not BT, who is it they bought the number from? if they wont do anything about it surely they can be held accountable for harrassing people in the third party sense, they are being paid to give out this number after all...?
I wont phone the number back cause im sure id be charged wouldnt i? maybwe this is why they keep phoning?- Caller: dont know
- Kaz SLost count how many times they have phoned me and what the company is called. From what I can remember they have been Future Homes, Space Kitchens, Weatherseal and WS Promotions. Last call I was in for I told them to stop calling and take me off their list. Was put onto a supervisor who wanted my name, address, phone number and postcode to take me off the list. I refused - calls stopped for a month. Started again last week - thank goodness I missed it. I am XD and TPS.
- SalWe're Ex-D and on TPS and have been for ages but have just had a cold call from this lot again.
Weatherseal are THE WORST cold-callers who ignore Ex-D and TPS. A couple of years ago I had to phone BT and report Weatherseal for nuisance calls because they never stopped. One of their operators even got abusive when I told them we didn't accept cold calls and were on TPS.
The chap who called me today to try to sell me double-glazing was actually very polite and apologised when I told him we're on TPS. He has promised me he's taken my number off the database so we won't get called again - we shall see......- Caller: WS marketing
- FreddyReceived another call at 1225, but when I answered they hung up within two seconds. During the last call I received about three weeks ago I told the male caller that my phone was registered with TPS, and requested quite pointedly that they stop telephoning me-probably four previous calls before that.
How many postings does it require on this forum before Oftel decide to stop this nonsense once and for all? - malnothing but silence on the other end. i am TPS registered, they have been calling at least once a week and its the same each time
- TPS?What good is TPS if they cannot stop these marketing calls
- flexiIm ex directory and TPS
answered and they hung up. auto dialer - Dunc from DundeeStaying at a relative's house in Aberdeen, this number just called me and asked to speak to the home-owner, who i told them was unavailable, they said they would call back another time and just as i was about to tell them the homeowner wasn't available they hung up. Here's a good one - a friend of mine told me, if someone asks to speak to homeowner just tell them you'll get them, then leave the phone off the hook until they get bored and hang up. Waste my time and I'll waste yours. I feel sorry for the folk who do this because they are hard up or have no qualifications but as per Rivers comment, if you get hung up on then they can poke whatever they have to sell.
- Caller: Didnt say
- HelenGot call from this number at 18:46 yesterday evening. As soon as I picked up the phone, just got the usual phone tone you get when a call terminates - no background noises or anything. Like many of you, we are TPS registered.
Our phone has the facility of being able to record your own ringtones, including ones which can be a message using your own voice. So every time we get nuisance calls where the number is displayed, I save the caller number with a tiltle, e.g. "Pest Windows" and give that number my special "Nuisance caller - nuisance conman calling" voice ringtone. I now have a number of such caller IDs in my directory. Saves a great deal of time - not to mention the worry about who might be calling. - nodrogMy wife has been called twice by this no. in the past two days. She has serious mental health issues and every call like this pushes her towards the edge. We are tps registered. I have attempted to have my no. removed from their list - we will see if it works. They must be made to realise that actions have consequences. The only way to stop them and others is direct action. Once one or two senior managers have been targeted or call centre activity disrupted they , or the government, may take notice.

- BrianAlso ex-directory and TPS-registered but the marketing calls are getting ridiculous again.
Received a call from 08452639001 this morning... no answer, just a couple of beeps then a hang-up.- Caller: unknown
- Trish, CarlisleYep, had these phone me this morning saying our household had been chosen as a winner in the postcode lottery and that we'd won free window and doors replacement. Told them I was TPS and Ex-directory, he put a "manager" on who said he'd had problems with his computer and wanted to take my name down. Told him no way was I giving him details when he knew my postcode and phone number already. Then I hung up on him.
- Caller: same as above
- Not-so-happy chappie, near GlasgowCall from this number - asking for the property owner -0 then 'I have some good news for you sir... you have been selected for a free double glazing upgrade'. I said I know you are selling me something but I am not interested... but he carried on saying there was no catch... again I said I was not interested and I have been through it before... he carried on.
He really got to me... after the 6th attempt on 'I'm not interested and I've just interrupted another important call to answer this one' he still wouldn't listen - so I stopped him and said I'm fed up of this and want to speak to your boss... at which point I expected to be hung up on... but sure enough - 15 seconds later I was put through to his boss who sounded to be about 12 years old - but clearly this was a call centre and to be fair to the boss he listened to my comments.
I explained that I had made it clear I was not interested but the caller interrupted me and was pretty rude. I said that if your aim is to p*** people off then it has certainly worked for me.
I then said that I wanted my number removed from their list and not to be called again. I also asked for their company details which he willingly gave... "Weatherseal" and their direct number is 01606 866500.- Caller: Weatherseal
- Renewable BobDidnt make it time to answer the phone so checked who called with 1471 and then typed the number in my search engine and this page was the top of the list. Im now quite glad I missed the call.
Thanks - Who calls me- Caller: ?
- PeterTWeatherseal are a real nusiance to me. The only way I could get them to stop calling 4 years ago was to complain to the Information Commissioner www.ico.gov.uk. Even so it took several letters and a year to stop the calls. Unfortunately they have just started again so back to the ICO. The TPS were toothless and could not stop the calls. I advise all pestered by them to complain to the ICO then perhaps firm action will be taken.

- JoanneHi Got a call from this company 'Feature Homes' they were calling themselves. I asked how they got this number as I am with TPS. They said from their database I advised that I am with TPS and the person advised that they would get their manager. The manager said that they were having many problems like this and it was a problem with thier firewall, to remove my number they needed my name and postcode, I said no and that they could simply remove my number, they said no and that they needed the name and postcode to do this. I then advised that I would look into reporting their company and hung up.
