had a call and they left a message about me claiming my refund for PPI - since I have never had any PPI I know this is a scam!

Had several calls from this number, the most recent being on the 2nd and 4th February . Usual garbled recorded message about a PPI refund. Like all of the other folk disturbed by this call we do not and have never had PPI cover.

This is a scam and DXI Easycall must be held responsible for allowing these calls to be made.

When are the regulatory bodies going to do something about them? What use is signing up to telephone preference if these companies can get round it somehow?

Has anyone managed to track down the 'phone numbers of Nicholas Holland or Lisa Clark? If so log them and post them so that we can all 'phone them at 3am each day.

Likewise.  I've never had PPI - they said to hurry about cklaiming my PPI refund - must be a scam.  We are registered with TPS but this doesn't seem to stop them!!

This is about claiming PPI , I am sick and tired of hearing about this on TV.
I am far too busy to have these cretins call me at home.
If I needed to reclaim PPI do they not think I would have already acted upon it.
We were told over 12 months ago there was very little time left.
I believe it could be an eternity.

Like a lot of the people who have posted comments, I too had the same recorded message left on my answering machine: first part of the message missing, press 5 or press 9 to fast-track payment etc. Thought it may be a scam so Gooled it and came across this forum, going off how many people has posted it looks like I was right. I get loads of calls over a day that I've stopped answering the landline and just let the machine pick up. Anyone I wish to hear from have my mobile number anyway and know that I can be reached on this.

Got another call from this number this is a daily occurrance and is always a recorded message about PPI, telephone number 08452863822

Given that this is a website that is supposed to offer an opportunity for people to complain about unsolicited calls why does it carry adverts for companies who promise to sort out PPI claims. Looks like to is making money from the verity things we are complaining about.

I'm registered with the TPS but get calls from this number almost every day. They leave messages on my answer phone. Today I happened to be in and it was the same pre-recorded message when I picked up about reclaiming PPI but I've never had a PPI policy in my life.

There seems nothing that the TPS can do about pre-recorded calls (which is rather ridiculous) but I did send an email complaining to the Information Commissioner's Office who apparently handle these things

I have contact ,BBC watch dog about this ,these people are investigator who want to find out who you are e.t.c ,

Its a long pause the recorded message about payment protection insurance choose option 9 to unsubscribe........

getting at least two calls per day from these people on my mobile and there is an automated message regarding PPI - something I have never had...

same as above called from 08452863822 at 1:19pm. PPI, press 5 etc.

I have been mercifully free of these damn pests for some while now but just got a call from this one.  I have a defence, an old fashioned fax machine, if I don't recognise the number or it is International or Number Withheld I take the call on the fax which gives the caller the sound of a modem.  It seems that the software some of these pests use recognises the tone as a number unobtainable and eventually they remove it from their list.
