- medusaHave had incessant calls from this number over the past two months; despite being TPS registered. YES they are 'the wide boys offering untold riches if you claim through them, with regard to the
PPI banking scam. To take up their offer would be to be screwed twice by financial services.
As for the TPS organization. Never hold out any hope that they will protect those registered with them will be protected from any unwanted calls. They are a corporate organization which gathers
information supplied by you, ( Joe public ) to flog-off to inquiring firms and industries; with a conscience. At the last count that would cost them £1300 + to abide by the TPS spirit that we all signed
up for. How many firms would not flinch at the cost, despite their initial good intentions to the public ! When did you last hear of a firm being taken to court for breaching TPS guidelines, which is enshrined
in criminal law! Even Ofcom, the agency responsible for overseeing the breaches can't or won't lay their hands on the figures. To be sure, when they are forced to reveal the number of criminal cases; if indeed there are any, they, the figures, won't reflect the millions of us who are having their private lives blighted by this growing phenomena of incessant unwanted phone calls intruding into our own homes.
The Law is being abused and ignored: but while the organization;TPS. has as it's main aim, ' Profit above Protection,' and the legal agency, Ofcom has its head up it's Ar... Hoping the problem will evaporate
through public despair There is little hope.
IT'S TIME TO CHANGE THE LAW!
To begin; direct your complaints to OFCOM. TPS will always deny their responsibility for action. saying, 'that lies with Ofcom. (which it does. )

Organisations that use recorded phone message to try and sell or promote their products or services have to comply with the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003. These say that marketers who leave recorded phone messages must obtain prior consent from the subscriber before they can make such a call.
Where a subscriber receives a recorded phone message they haven't agreed to there may have been a breach of the regulations. If you are receiving recorded messages and have not given prior permission and can identify the organisation leaving the message, you can complain directly to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), who are the body responsible for enforcing the above regulation. Their details are:
Information Commissioner’s Office
Tel: 03031231113
Web: www.ico.gov.uk
As you called me, and others, without prior consent, you are in breach of these regulations. Accordingly reported to the ICO, expect a large fine shortly.. - Fed UpRecorded message asking you to press 5 to reclaim PPI
