Had a "courtesy call" from these scammers yesterday afternoon. despite being TPS registered. Ignored it and always shall. No message left. Hope it costs them money.

According to a previous entry here, Easycallnow Ltd says these are "These are calls to our customers". No they are not. They are unsolicited sales campaign calls. I suppose that if your whole business is based on telling lies another one doesn't change much.

Cant find out who this annoying lot are!

I pressed 5 on this lot today in a bid to help anyone else that comes here.  It's Purple Pig Claims, and they don't care about TPS. I went to register a complaint with TPS and they don't cover recorded messages, so I complained on www.ico.gov.uk hope this helps someone else.

Three silent calls today from  08452 863822.

I called John on the freephone number below, he denies that the number belongs to them !

So there is a lie somewhere, in the post reproduced below, or in the answer I was given in the 'phone call.

Received a phone call @ 2.49pm. When I said hello. they listened for a short while then hung up.

Got call; no sound so hung up.

called 1935, went dead when  I answered.

Someone regularly phones me about PPI. If I could reach down the phone I would ram it up her *****.

We are OAPs and I am not to good on my feet,we get these messages almost everyday 4-5 times a day ,what a pain! we are also covered by the telephone preference calls,waste of time.

Got a recorded message from 08452863822 saying I should call to collect my PPI refund, I have no PPI's.

Called by these jokers today, if they call you ignore them - they pretend that you're a customer of theirs and lie about having some money for you.

08452863822 is the number for Purple Pig Claims in Sunderland.  PPI [***] et al.

Hi just call 08000882128 I did and gave them some advice about customer service and nuisance calling ..Guy on other end of phone said look into it ...Gave my number told him take it off their list, Or would call all directors on company house list in wee hours ..Whats worse they always hang up expecting call back and unregistering ..It costs for calling them ..some front they have why doesn't the people in this country who are supposed to protect the public doing something about it..I bet if David Cameron was harrassed at home it would stop tomorrow....

IF the calls weren't made in the first place to PRIVATE HOME RESIDENCE NUMBERS there would be no need for this ,Telemarketing is wrong a invasion of my personal life ,and a breach of my rights as a private citizen , (  if you have received a courtesy call from  08452863822 or any of our other 0845286 customer service numbers you do not need to be concerned ) It isn't courteous when the T*AT that calls hangs up ,and why should recievers of this call not be concerned when the message doesn't tell you who is calling and lies on messages they leave...
STOP THIS ,NOBODY WANTS PPI REPAYMENTS FROM COLD CALLERS ,THERE ARE LOADS AVAILABLE ON THE TV INTERNET AND DAILY PAPERS ...The telemarketing companies behind these numbers aren't really interested in your opinions while the user of these numbers are paying them ,

Just had a call from this number. No sound, and hung up after a few seconds. It's illegal for them to phone me as I'm registered with TPS.

The only way you will get these muppets stopped is to email them and the ICO stating that you are receiving nuisance calls. Recorded message calls should be outlawed as no reputable company would conduct their business generation this way. Don't just moan about them on a forum - contact them, the ICO, TPS, MPs - anyone you can think of to have this lot shut down.

Have you got £80 to spare - if so I suggest that you invest in the True Call nuisance blocker.  Believe you me it will be the best £80 you have ever spent.  This is a discreet little machine that plugs into the back of your telephone and does allsorts of wonderful things.  It also has an answer machine so you can do away with your existing machine.  Your machine will filter them out and your phone does not ring.  I have had my machine since last September and in that time I have not had one unwanted call - bliss!!!!

Called yesterday with a recording about PPI. Hung up on the gits. It's SPAM.
