08453510192
Report a phone call from 08453510192 and help to identify who and why is calling from this number.
- EddieThis i's NOT a scam, had calls to home phone and mobile for my son. We didn't reply but instead contacted lloyds on number on back of DD card. Money gone out in USA dollars, someone tried in Pakistan and 3 others in uk tried. We reckon this is from my son stupidly buying something from his unsecure mobile (lesson learnt)
- Caller: Lloyds
- JamesRecently bought 2 mugs on internet (total cost approx £18) + booked hotel room in Sheffield for 3 nights (£145). this number rang me and told me I had to re do the 2 transactions. I realise Lloyds are trying to help but I was not given any warning about this at all. Do I rebook the room or not? Already have a printed email confirmation of the hotel booking. This is simply adding to the confusion. Don't want to lose another £145 booking a hotel room I have already booked. Bit annoying as the mugs were ordered online 3 days ago as a present and I had assumed that the order had gone through.
- AndyAsk your own branch of the Bank to explain the true situation. There is insufficient information here for an outsider to assist. For example, did you pay by Credit Card, Debit Card, or what? Did the Hotel booking go through an agency or direct to the Hotel?
In short, you know the transaction details so it is best and safest to check with the owner of the payment method that you employed. - IgnoreTheScamWarningsThis is NOT a scam!!
I was skeptical and so called the customer services to confirm the number, I would advise you do the same because unfortunately, it probably means you are a victim of fraud.
This number is Lloyds TSB, please phone the customer services number and follow it through from there!- Caller: LLOYDS TSB
- f43twgf replies to Johnits a con just spoke to lloyds fraud department - they want your DOB and other details - then they can start conning you, it has no mention of lloyds being part of FSA etc which their normal lines do, also no options to talk to a lloyds operator -
DO NOT CALL IT - Report it to your bank - EricThis number is perfectly safe.
I was sceptical when rang it back but then when i rang the number on the back of my lloyds tsb card, the operator confirmed it was the fraud department.........and then transferred me over to the automated system, which is exactly the same as you get if you call 0845 3510192!!1
There is some basic security to go thorugh like D/O/B etc but when you eventually get to a person, there is a series of multiple choice questions on your life to go through to identify who you are - Pain in the backside but well worth it security wise!
0845 3510192 is PERFECTLY SAFE!!- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- James Clover27/07/41 for the last few days have had repeated calls from the number above and 08452867066.
Calls pertain to be about fraud.- Caller: Lloyds (though not really)
- pickersJust got a call from 08453510192, Contacted Lloydstsb nothing to do with them! end of story!
- Sunf| 1 replyI have had 3 calls which I did not answer... I always ignore 0800 numbers....
But earlier today I did try to buy a washing machine online from Currys.. a company also mentioned in this thread.
It didn't work
Looked up the number online and found this thread and now I am confused. I know I got the details right when I was trying to order.
Worried too... never had a problem buying online before but this has put me off.
Some say it is genuine, others not so I will not try again but check with my bank in person. - Eric replies to SunfIts perfectly safe
Ring the number on the back of your bank card and ask them if the number is to do with them - They will say 'yes' and you'll be put through to Lloyds TSB Fraud Department. Guarantee you - kirstIve just had a voicemail left from this number saying that it was Lloyds TSB fraud departmant and i should contact them urgently.
I found this thread and ive rung the 0843 000 000 customer service number off Lloyds website, she said it is a scam and to ignore it, they would be phishing for information to rip me off.
Will keep a close eye on my account over next few days but personally i believe its a scam.- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- G Mit is Lloyds they blocked a payment i was trying to make over the internet, peed me off to be honest as i had to use another card, still better safe than sorry
- Caller: LLoyds TSB
- hmmI'm very confused about this number as we seem to have support for both sides on this thread, some telling me yes it's genuine from Lloyds, and others saying no it's fraudulent, so what should I believe??
I was making a fairly large internet order today using a lloyds visa debit card, and Lloyds Clicksafe blocked it, giving a number to ring which I did and ended up talking to a gentleman who asked me the five multichoice questions and then said he would let the transaction go through: with him still on the line I tried again and it passed (the confirmation email from the vendor arrived too) so I conclude he was genuinely within Lloyds. Later in the afternoon however I have had four calls to my ansaphone from this number asking me to press any key to continue - well that's all the message that I get on the answaphone: I screen all incoming calls and return them when I'm ready, this was an automatic call and only the tail end of it got recorded. Naturally I didn't press anything, and have come here to find out more. Tomorrow first thing I'm going in to my branch to sort it. Will be vaguely amusing if it is a scam cos there's less than a fiver left in the acount after my biggy so they won't get far!- Caller: possibly Lloyds.... or maybe not...
- AndyIT IS REAL- Lloyds TSB Fraud dept. Trust me, call Lloyds straight away. Call the 24hour phone banking number off the Lloyds website and tell them you got a call from this number. They will check the number, confirm it is real and pass you through to the fraud dept. (Chances are they have already blocked your card by this point anyway) Some little swine apparently went on a £2,000 spending spree with my card today- thankfully Lloyds spotted it and blocked my card!!!!
- Caller: Lloyds TSB Fraud Dept
- cocoWe keep getting phone calls from this number 3 or 4 times a day
- blah blah replies to !!!!quote " The scammers did not even have my current telephone number "
erm? Durh.. no sense.
i have had this number call me twice today. relative infomation but wrong days and differing transactions, but accurate amounts , i will be phoning the fraud squad again as the second cal came at 4:30pm after i called Lloyds 2 hours prior.
Fishy indeed. said it had blcoked my payment , but i logged into my accounts and the amount has been paid.
like i say Fishy.. Norton smorton... mcafee smaffee... the internet is no longer a safe place to transact your business. - James Neighbourhood Watch CoordinatorI can confirm that this number is GENUINE I transferred a large amount of money and this was a security check. Also I was informed that Tesco had double billed me for my shopping. It is a pity they don't use the telephone number on their website and debit cards.(08453 000 000) Not many people will be aware of this website to check unidentified callers. I only found it by being a member of Neighbourhood Watch
- Caller: Lloyds TSB
- James Neighbourhood Watch Coordinator replies to TimSorry to contradict you but this is Genuine.. If still in doubt phone 08453 000 000
- Raymond| 1 reply0845 351 0192 has been calling my 15 Year Old sons mobile phone (which my company pays for), along with a few other 0845 callers and he's getting distressed about it. This is getting really annoying now. These people are looking for a person named Clive Sutton and don't know what the hell they're doing. Bunch of incompetent idiots who I will be reporting for harassment if this continues.
- Caller: Unprofessional
- Nan replies to RaymondReport these calls to The Information Commissioner's Office. Its easy to do on the ICO website and they don't need the company name, only the number they are calling on. By repeatedly calling your son they are breaching the Data Protection Act and the ICO can fine them heavily. They are cracking down on these rogue calls and recently fined two companies £50,000 each.
