Total scam.  I haven't got an account with Lloyds bank.  I do all my banking online with other banks so checked my accounts and there are no pending transactions or anything like mentioned in the call.

Also the call was for a Mrs Toomblamoomba which is just ridiculous and is obviously giving a weird indecipherable name on purpose to try and confuse people.

This is clearly a scam to get you through to somewhere and take your actual real details (and security details) from you so they can try and hack your real bank accounts.  Don't fall for this nonsense people.  The other people on here saying it's real are probably the scammers themselves - anyone can leave a review, remember that and stay safe with your details!

If you have any doubts don't call this number back, look up Lloyds TSB actual fraud number on Google which is 0345 300 0116 and call that if you have any worries.

Received an automated call last night and again this morning - replied to this mornings' call - and also rung Lloyds direct to check - it is definitely not a scam number it is the fraud department of Lloyds Bank.  They had blocked three unauthorised transactions and they were fraudulent.  My account was compromised and as a result card cancelled new one on the way - do not be afraid to ignore these calls but please ring Lloyds Bank direct and speak to the fraud department if you get called.  There is a lowcost number to use 0345 000 000.  This is honestly not a scam.

I do agree that people call the Lloyds number direct - 0345 000 000 - ask for the fraud department - speak with the advisors who will confirm the issues to you.  The automated number is real however and no a scam.

I can confirm that this is Lloyds. I woke up to texts from Lloyds saying that there was unusual activity in my account and I checked and indeed £500 was missing from my account.
I only contacted Lloyds via this number and my card was cancelled, a new one sent and the money was returned to my account. Seeing as this was the only number I contacted, it has to be Lloyds
However, this number charged me for calling it! I will contact Lloyds to try and reclaim this money.
So if you get a message from this number, definitely check for fraudulent activity with your account but perhaps phone a different Lloyds number to avoid this calling charges!

Don't fall for the scam. Check your phone to see what number you've called straight after; I believe you would be diverted to the scammers who make you think you're talking to Lloyds Bank. I didn't even respond to the automated calls (other than picking up the phone) yet my phone shows that I have made calls to 080854050601110759245112 and 080540506011109572451! BTW, the message I got was for a name of someone who doesn't live here and I don't have an account with Lloyds.

I am getting calls from this number saying that they are from Lloyds bank & addressing me by a different name.  I phoned Lloyds & my number is not in their system, nor do I bank with them.  I also received a text saying that someone had used my Debit Card to buy something costing 285 $.

I was also suspect of this number so decided to call them via the number on their web site, they were confused and didn't really know but there was a genuine fraud flag on my account. Just call them from web site number to be safe! Silly of them really trying to combat fraud but calling you on a number that doesn't exist or even tell you who they are!!

I keep getting calls from this number at my office and the caller is a recorded voice looking for a Mr Gregory Smith. There is no such person in this office and this is becoming annoying. Hanging up the phone does not disconnect the call. What should I do
