    Alternative option here folks is to block the number - depends on what phone you use but most of them should do it. Highlight the number to het the options and block. I'm sick of getting calls and it's about 3-5 calls a day and I know that then are only allowed to call a maximum of 1 a day if that. I'm finding it very frustrating.

    I am in dispute with Three and received a call from this number. Under the OFT's requirements for debt collection agencies, they are not allowed to contact you for money if the account / contract is in dispute. Simply answer the call stating that this call is not permitted as per the OFT's requirements, log the time and date every time they call and then, report it to Three (look on the net for some decent email contacts) citing the OFT's guidelines (you can check their website for debt collection guidelines). Make sure you do this in writing (email) and keep a copy, stating all the times and dates along with the fact that you have already told them the account is in dispute. Believe it or not, there are many laws to protect people against events like this, please research a little on the internet, there are great sites which can help. You will even have legal recourse if they genuinely harrass you.

    Three are a terrible company, I had no signal at home for two months, they had a broken mast yet still wanted money! Hilarious. I'm now with Talk Mobile who have British call centres. So far so good.

    Lastly, you don't have to accept the decision of the ombudsman should you refer your case to them. You will often find that if you do contest their decision, they will often look again at the case in more detail and provide a more suitable solution.

    I have been advised to tell them that I am recording all calls ( I have a pocket recorder) for evidence in The County Court when I sue them under the Protection From Harassment act 1997 and all calls will be charged to them at £15 per minute. This is a perfectly legal way of going about things, see if it works!! It is only an offshoot of Three anyway & probably do not have a licence from the Consumer Credit Register as Debt Collectors.

    Cite the 1997 Protection From Harassment Act, tell them you are recording the call & are charging them £15 per minute. Also ask for their Consumer Credit Licence Number!

    Got a letter today from them asking me to pay an outstanding balance which I have been trying to pay 3 for 2 months.  Changed my card details and 3 have not changed as they insist that the details they have are correct so my payment comes out of my account and get suspended to be put back in my account after 10 days tried to pay 3 on several occasions but the same thing happens every time. They have passed this account onto the debt collectors, even though 3 are still pestering me for payment and won't accept the problem is at there end.  They are very rude and it is hard to have a conversation when nothing can be understood when you are trying to make them listen.  Its impossible and I will never be using 3 again.

    im a former customer of 3,   my internet provider,   i have had a bill through double the amount im normally paid,   everyday for the past three weeks, i have had a phone call from someone claiming to be from same company, ,, first question they ask from me is my postcode and date of birth ,,  i understand if i phoned them, they would need to confirm my identity, however, since they have phoned me they would have all the relevant information on file,why would they need to check if they phoned me?,,, i refused to give them my personal details and rerquested they e-mail me (they hold my e-mail on File) so i can confirm, who they are,, they say if i phoned the number they gave me they can confirm it, i pointed out that if i did that their is a good chance it could be a scam and use all my credit, i again said could you please e-mail, me and they said they didnt offer that service,,,   how crazy is it that an internet provider dose not offer an e-mail service, now i am getting messages ,, from this ATD,,,   with no explanation as to what it relates to directly,,,  possible they could be conected how ever if that is the case why are both of them calling me now,??? instead of the later???

    They are calling me ten times a day. Just ignore them. Either just hang up or leave the line open so they waste their time. Since they have ‘bought the debt’ (from whoever thinks you owe them something) the debt has been settled. ADC don’t have a claim on your money but they bank on the fact that people will be intimidated and pay up. My dispute was with Three mobile whom I have written to telling them to issue me with a County Court Summons but they are too chicken to do it lol. Don’t give in to these bullying thugs!

    Like all debt collectors, they have no rights whatsoever unless they have a court judgement. For the record, the ombudsman cut my ETC in half and I still refused. I also reminded Three by email, copying in the ombudsman for good measure that I do not accept the ombudsman's findings and as such the account is still in dispute. THEY CANNOT ASK YOU FOR MONEY IF THE CONTRACT IS IN DISPUTE. Just simply notify them if this is the case. A simple deadlock letter from Three will suffice. I've recorded 5 times ADT or Three calling me for the debt, going to let them carry on. If you check your credit history and their isn't a Q by the debt, you can sue them! Please keep a record and every time they call, send Three an email stating the time, date and number!

    Don't use Three ever, you've been warned!!! Don't be intimidated by them either, they prey on people who will pay up and listen to their idle threats! I'm happy to go to court, it will cost them hundreds in fees and they can't pass on the costs as it's a small claims court!! There's little point paying a solicitor £100 an hour for at least four hours for a bill of £400, they can't pass it on!

    Stand up to Three, slag them off when you can, online, surverys, whatever, they deserve to go bust!

    Unbelievable!
    A woman from this company called me to advise that they were calling on behalf of  "3" and asked for birth date etc.  I knew that all the accounts I hold with this network were up to date and knew exactly when they were due so why should they be calling before the actual payment date!   I asked why she wanted details and why would 3 pass on my details as my accounts were not in the red. I explained that having received various missed calls from them yesterday I checked this number out and was aware that this was a company outwith the UK and indeed may be based in India.   She replied "You won't want to talk to an Indian". I could not believe my ears. I repeated my earlier statement and said that I would be providing no information to them until I had spoken to 3 myself. She was really rude to say the least and indeed I was frustrated at having received such a call in the first place. I thereafter called 3 who advised my account had not been passed and if they were to call again I should put them on hold and contact 3 on another line for which I will do if they call back.   So please beware!

    I had a very nice call from 3!!! Explained I was havimg  a rough time and could not pay my bill.  She was very nice, understanding etc I paid my last £5 I had, and she said we would talk.  Got home tonight 2 days later to hear from my partner that they called and debt collectors are coming round.  Not only has this caused major problems with my partner, not my house - but I beleived the debt could be sorted and I want it to be without more hassle!

    Im on the venerable adult list and currently in hospital, when I tried to tell the guy he yelled at me and I just said I would pass it onto my advocate. Seems,like this guy doesn't know the law or how much trouble he can get in for his unprofessional conduct. Especially yelling at someone who is considered venerable.

    I took out a 3 mifi mobile dongle back in 2010 which was used for about three months until my children got broadband, tried to cancel the account three times over a set period and each time was told the account was cancelled, but every month they continued to take the money from my bank. so seeing as I had paid for a service I was not using but still being billed for I cancelled the direct debit seeing as they were failing to do it their end. £5.99 over two and a half years of no service adds up to money I cannot afford to lose. as soon as I cancelled they sent letter after letter demanding I paid the £5.99 0wed which within a week increased to £24.99. these reprobated continue to call upto 6 times a day asking for their money even though I have tried to cancel three times for a service I havnt used for over two years and no these clowns are phoning on behalf of three expecting me to pay.......not in this world or the next I can assure you. stay well away from 3 and associates, they are trouble.

    call 07782333333 and speak to an advisor, they can offer payment plans and recall the debt.

    I only owed £33 but they were calling me daily even when I had paid 3 directly. it takes about 5 days to be pulled from the dialer,

    I wouldnt pay these guys. pay 3 directly.
