she does not have to pay a penny -up until the service stopped working they were paid -then it stops and they admit they have a problem and after weeks of them lying and giving false promises we cancel.

- In Support of 3 G Workers Being SackedReceived calls from the same claiming to be calling on behalf of 3G. When asked for their identity; they revealed that they couldn't reveal it; yet they wanted my name and dayte of birth. Should ignorant people like this be allowed to use a telephone? There should be a telecommunication ban on such people; and 3 G should be reported to the Data Protection Regulators.

- adam needhamthey phone me up 10- 50 times a day saying the bill have not been payed for the 3 usb modem but i pay £10.10 a month which was on the contract i signed but there wanting £20/wk and when i told them i signed the contract to pay £10.10/mnth they did not like it and said NO YOU BLOODY DID NOT YOU SIGN FOR £20/WK, I SAID IF IT WAS I WOULD NOT OF SIGNED IT. I sent a copy of the contract off to 3 via fax and went into carphone warehouse were i got it from and spoke to the guy i got servied by and he said it was £10.10/mnth and if i got calls again tell them to check the notes and if they phone any more time in that week say i will stop the contract

Recieved letter 2 days prior to receiving phone call from 3 mobile phone company. - annoyed chap!my 3g phone was stolen, and when i tried to cancell it their service was down, and as a result the thiefs spent about £160 on game downloads...etc until i finally got it cancelled
about 3 months later, i have been cut off, spend about 50 frustrating hours on the phone explaining its their fault and written 3 letters to them, and only had 2 replies and no conclusion or even an apology.
now i've started to be phoned by the number 08453550306 as its their debt collection people.
3 are totally useless, and i wouldn't recommend them to anyone!!! - adamyea that phone number has been ringing me

- mmI am also in dispute with 3 over my mobile broadband it would not work for over a month £45 worth of calls to their useless team and it still wasnt fixed so i cancelled my direct debit the minute i stopped paying my internet worked im now not willing to pay them until they refund my phone bill so i am now getting calls from this number several times a day they a huge pain in my ***.
Do not go with 3 MOBILE their technical staff have no clue what they are talking about they read everything off the computer infront of them!!! - craigi took a second contract out just before christmas with 3 had just finished a 18 month contract and decided for ease even tho not 100% happy with service would go with them again well a few months ago think it was june 2008 three dropped o2 and used orange for there backup network now being out in the sticks unless you go near belfast you dont get 3g so orange was default on phone couldnt make and recive calls so rang them up and after i had had this contract for 6 months they allowed me to end contract early got my pack code and final bill of £12.50p had moved house and genuwinly forgot about paying it any a letter from atdc all of a sudden says i owe £54.40p so i rang the 0845 355 0306 to be greeted by a rude and obnoxius scotts man he wouldt take that i was disputing the amount on the bill i even said i have my closing ballances and he still wouldnt accepted that so i told him to take me to court 3 are crap im now with o2 and its english call centers and the reps are helpfull as for 3 i will never use them or recomend them again

- I hate 3!!bit late for leaving comments but as all of you, i've also had a bad phase with these people. and i can completely agree that 3 is a bad company. absolutely disgusted with them. they give you no time to pay your bills before their debt collectors get involved. absolutely ridiculous! I think from now i shall stick with Vodafone. a company i do trust, who give you a reasonable amount of time to pay your bills! If anyone is looking for advice and come across this web page DO NOT TRUST THREE. Well... not uless you wish to be throughly ripped off.

Had a few dealings with DCAs with relation to banks.... so have a bit of knowledge on how to handle these calls.
Even though they are based in India, they are phoning on behalf of a UK company who are liable for the Indian call centres actions.... tell them they are breaking the law, you could persue it through the courts to get a restraining order under the Protection From Harassment Act if you wanted.
Alternatively Trading Standards can persue it under the Administration Of Justice act - if they believe you are being unreasonably harassed, which a daily phonecall would definately be.

Additionally you can complain in the writing to the OFT, who monitor DCAs, if they collectively receive alot of complaints then they will persue action against the DCA in question. - I've had enough of these callsI am getting bombarded with calls from this number, I answered one by mistake today, it was obviously on an auto dialler, there was a delay before the Indian sounding bloke answered. I bought a 3 mobile broadband stick months ago, returned it as agreed by 3 under the 14 day rule. and then soon after got a bill and started getting nasty letters, claiming they were preparing court action. I spoke to an unpleasant Scottish man, who was rude and threatening, who made me go back to the web sales team. They agreed they had received the stick but hadn't canceled the account, hence the debt collector nonsense. That woman said she would sort it out, but another few weeks on, these calls have started up again, Dreadful customer service, a right royal pain in the backside, and if it threatens my credit rating, I will take legal action. Any grounds for a group action to deal with these people?

You have returned the goods within the outline of the contract, so for them to be chasing you and threatenning your credit rating is bad.
Actually, in addition to Trading Standards, contact Watchdog as to the companies actions and mention this in any correspondence to "3" - NatI am gettin constant calls from this number, have even had one at 10pm!
this is because i have refused point blank to pay 3 their disgusting bill!!
Almost £100 for 3 days of internet, in which i never downloaded anything nor was i constantly online...

3 did not send me any letters warning that i was being passed to a "debt collection" acency (although i dont see how this company think they are getting anything from me coming from india!!)
i am at the moment cutting the number off when it calls me but i will answer next time and give them a piece of my mind...andgod help them if my partner anwers 1st haha

- NatNumber called again today, but after writing a verrry long letter of complaint i decided to answer.
they asked for my dob and postcode, i refused to give them these details saying they could be anybody. i said i was in a dispute with 3 and why had i not recieved a letter from 3 saying i was being passed to ATD, to which the indian woman (who could barely speak english) said very rudely, well we are telling you now!! she was very rude so i got snotty too, she asked me to call 3 to which i replied they are requesting enough money off me im not spending more money calling them, if someone wants to speak with me they can call me from 3- not some indian call cantre!!!!!!!!

- JoI'm so glad I've seen this, I have been trying to cancel my 3 broadband contract since the beginning of September. I had it less than 14 days and the coverage was absolutely appalling. I am having to do everything through PC World because that is who I bought it through and there customer service is just as shocking. I am still getting bills through and am refusing to pay for a service I stopped using weeks ago.
