    They said 3 asked them to call me argently about my bill,name, d o b, my address, how i pay it, what was it last time. Why would they want this info. i pay s/o. but i didn't give them my bank info thank god.

    I have been in dispute about a cancelled contract with 3 for a 1 month. They will not reply to my letters or e-mails.   I am now receiving 3 calls a day from ATD threatening me because I won't them give my personnel details, although they will not identify themselves.  The number always shows on my phone as unavailable, only know it's 0845 3550306 because my son picked up my phone when I was out & they left the number.  Can't get a response from 3 to resolve the matter.  They do not answer calls made to them.   This is making me phyiscally sick.  Don't know where to go from here.    Can they give you a bad credit rating????

    Took out a contract with 3 back in January but the phone was defective so I decided to cancel the contract, THEN they tell me that there's no 14 day cancellation period and that I'm still liable for the phone. I left the phone on their desk in store and said that under various goverment acts I am fully allowed to cancel the contract within the first 28 days if the product is defective and went home.

    4 months later....

    3 were still charging me even though I had not had the phone since February and they had finally decided to hand me over to a debt collection service. I payed for the 5 months (even though I hadn't even used ONE month of their service!) and then 3 try (finally) to send me a new phone (or possibly the same defective one I returned before) but I rejected it twice (at 8 in the morning both times!!).

    Now....

    I am still being called by 3 and being sent bills even though I have legally in every possible way cancelled the contract. They have not told me that I was going to be put through to a debt collection agency this time (which I'm sure they have to do) and, while all emails I send them are replied to, the majority of the content of my emails is ignored (especially such information as "My contract was cancelled several months ago....).

    Next time they ring I might answer the phone and say "Hello, you've reached the 3G Customer Services hotline! Unfortunately there is nobody to take your call at the moment so please stay on the line, your call is important to us" and then play "Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up" down the line, and when the song has finished I'll speak to them asking for personal details and just generally try to waste their time.

    P.S.- 3 suck, never take a contract out with them!

    Forgot to say, I might try (besides Rick-Rolling them) telling them that the person they wish to contact has moved to a new address....I just won't tell them that the address doesn't exist!

    Keep getting a call from 08453550306 girl with Asiann accent asks for Mr Christopher O?????? (Foreign unpronounceable name). Despite being told that there is no-one of that name here and that I am a member of the telephone preference sevice sh continues to ring back

    I keep getting 'missed calls' from this number - missed as they are calling my T-Mobile (Mobile Broadband)SIM which is in the 'dongle' or 'stick', every time I boot up to go online I have to go through the process of sorting the missed calls and failure reports - I now have 30 in my deleted bin.  I called the number with-holding my mobile number (which is O2) - They are a debt collection agency, I was informed that they were collecting on behalf of British Telecom 3 mobile ... to my knowledge that is 2 companies and I have not used either!  Do not give out information to these people.

    I am so glad I have found this site!  Been getting calls up to 5 times a day from this company but not answered any as I did not know where they were coming from.  Received a letter from them today demanding payment for a 3 mobile contact that belonged to my Mum.  My Mum passed away earlier this year, I informed 3 and asked them to cancel the contract.  Her SIM has not been used for months so it's obvious the account is not being used.  Next time I get a call I will answer it and tell these idiots that a dead person can't pay a bill.

    ADVANCED TELECOMS DEBT COLLECTION SERVICES LIMITED (on behalf of 3 mobile)

    Really fed up with receiving phone calls from this number on a daily basis.  I have, on several occasions answered the phone to find myself speaking to thin air - no response.  

    Today was the last straw.  

    I answered the phone, said hello and waited 3 minutes before someone asked to speak to my partner.

    My partner is in dispute with 3 mobile over compensation issues for (a) a faulty mobile phone that was not fit for purpose (was collected, repaired and returned over a period of 8 days with no temporary handset offered for use during that time, nor with any credit being returned despite the number being out of action during the period of repair) and then (b) having no network service/cover available for several weeks in the two main areas where he was located at during the time due to 3 dropping their network coverage over a dispute with *whoever* and nothing being credited back to the account which led to the account being cancelled and the handset returned as it was literally useless.  There is an outstanding balance on the account of just under £28 which my partner is now refusing to pay until they resolve the outstanding issues on the account.  

    Today, I not only spoke to a very officious person on the phone but lost it entirely when they thought they could raise their voice to me and speak over me.  Having called the number back to complain about harassment (my partner works overseas and is away months at a time - a fact which they are well aware of) I was informed I was not being harassed?!?! ... ummm, I think I know what constitutes harassement ...

    ... so I told them that I consider I was being harassed and why and that all calls to this number are to stop immediately.  I was then informed that they had permission to call the number (which they don't) and I informed them that as the landline is registered under my name, they most certainly do not have my permission to call.  They have finally agreed to write instead but I have warned them that if the calls do not cease then they will be reported and I will personally take further action against them.

    It is more than likely that my parner will have a reduced credit rating because of this ongoing dispute but given his already good credit rating he is not prepared to back down over 3G's breach of contract and despicable business conduct.

    Our next step, having demanded that the 3G account be reviewed in full and the issues raised against the account are addressed, is to wait to hear from them and hope that they see sense and the mistakes that they have clearly made with regard to their own service agreement/contract.  We won't, however, be holding our breaths!

    In the meantime ................ there needs to be a God to help them if they dare dial my number again.

    Further to my previous note, I have since contacted Trading Standards who inform me that the Glasgow address is only a PO Box number and that the company is based and operating out of London.

    these people dont know how to be nice phone every day tryed sayin i was gonna report the they just got [***] with me saying that i was gonna get a bailiff knocking at me door for £15 wotevery how do we stop them coz 3g dont even employ them and dont know them.......

    I have only just got my phone line installed in my flat (after 6 months of living here) last week. on the first day I received a call from atd from a indian man name vikram. I politely told them that no one of that name lived here and I had only this day had this phone number set up so it could be a old number passed on. I explained to him my number was ex-directory so he should not just be able to use it off a database. I have since receive calls twice a day from the same man. Not matter how many times I explain to him that I do not have a 3 mobile and never had or will now he still wont take my number off the database. It is getting stupid now and I tryed asking for a number to complain and they told me they is one and hung up on me. Any ideas on what I can do????

    My contract with 3 ended, and they carried on billing me, these people have hounded me for £24.27 that I don't owe for a service I stopped using 6 months before contract ended, but honored the contract by continuing payments till the end.

    The very unhelpful person insisted that the contract was still active, so I told her to hold and I dug out the original papers, and quoted the start date of a 12 month contract, which had ended 3 months before her call, then dug out my statements and gave her the date of the last payment before I canceled the direct debit, which was one month AFTER the contract end, so I pointed out that they in fact owed me £24.47 and asked her how she would like to pay.

    She then started getting very angry and rude with me, so I said "I jope as it states at the start of this call that this call is being recorded ........" she hung up.

    I then called 3 and got another very unhelpful operator and wared them that if they didn't repay my £24.47 I would report them to Offcom and BBC's watchdog.

    So far no more calls .

    They have been calling my wifes mobile for several months now.

    I did a little digging as being a Limited Company it is easy enough to trace them via http://www.companieshouse.gov.uk/ and they are listed as Company No. 06032605

    Now I would never suggest that everyone should call the solicitors to get their problem with the company sorted but sometimes fighting fire with fire is a good option.  After all a solicitor receiving a heap of calls about a specific client several times per day is preventing the Solicitors from working efficiently, and also costing them money.

    Had a call at my old address. They have rang 5 times in last 3 days stating that they need to speak urgently with me? This was 1st from a 3 network worker and they told my mum now that ATD are involved and that i need to speak with them asap! Can't believe how many people are having this problem, can.t wait 4 the pleasemt phone call 2moro morning! :)
