    Too many calls, they say they are acting for 3.  I have and never had an account with 3 - they fail to answer my 'Security' questions so I cannot give them any information such as who I am.  What a load of Pratts

    Having terrible time with this company calling. They ask for ID, I say no then I ask them for ID which they won't give. I have taken to just hanging up on them.

    I am in dispute with 3mobile as they owe me £38 and I owe them £15 (I paid and they put the payment to the incorrect acount so my £15 has been put on hold until I receive my refund as it was their error)

    I have reported them to TPS and 3mobile.

    I was having to spend most of my time in Cumbria rather than the North East a was unable to get any coverage at all so I phoned to cancel the agreement. they replied I would have to pay the full contract term which had 14 months to run. I replied I wasn't prepared to pay for a service they couldn't provide and stopped the D.D. They have constantly harrassed me since.

    I've had successive calls from this number to my mobile number. I have answered twice and there was noone on the line. There have been continuing calls, that I have not answered and no messages left.

    I've also been in dispute with 3 over their mobile dongle. Coverage even in Central London wasn't great, and then their software started crashing the laptop. In effect it was unusable. I returned the dongle etc to their retail agent - the Carphone Warehouse - and have been in desultory correspondence with 3 and their UK debt agents since March/April 2009, getting nowhere fast.

    keep gettin calls after calls from this number i have recived a letter from these stating they writting on b half of three but i have not heard nothing from three stating about the money as i am only 1 month behind

    I keep getting calls from this number more than twice a day, very annoying. They say its on behalf of 3G. Got a dongle which never worked properly with all sorts of excuses like maintainance work. Meanwhile money was collected from my account which is not justifiable. Please be warned about 3G. They are the worst at customer service and quickto get money out of you.

    i keep getting phone calls & i've recieved a letter from this company !!! they are very abrupt in the conversation & believe that they are right & you are wrong !!! I am also in dispute with 3 about the service they fail to provide & the contract that they have wrongly put me on !!!
    So be very aware about this company & make sure that you record any phone calls from them ask the full name of the person that is calling you & not just the name of the company & be sure you tell them that you are recording the conversation !!!!!!

    Ok, here's the SP, reading the numerous facts of this larger than life company, it would appear for all purposes that it is in fact the executive 'strong arm' of 3's accounts department, in other words, three masquerading as a debt collection agency to put the frighteners on anyone who owes them money, i work in local govt and deal with bailiffs every day of the week. it is is unlikely that 3 will pass a debt off to a collections agency as usually the practice is that they 'sell' the bad debt off (called packaging a debt bundle), so lets's say you have 500 customers over a large wedge each, they sell the bundle and the debt company pays whatever fee is agreed, if the debt company can collect ALL the  money, they're quids in, so three are not stupid, looks like a few years ago their debt collection WAS outsourced to a company called RED, good name that (Red letter!), now they do it in house, from 0845 numbers which would appear to route from their rickshaw call centre in slum-dog india (3 grand a year and a bag of rice a month gets a happy employee who will slave for 12 hours a day on the phone, Philip is really gupta and Sarah is really Shareen, it's all Bu**[***] from them ...)

    If you try and make an interim payment online on the 3 site once its been 'passed' to ATD it won't let you, so ... they tell you it's been passed over for collection, you ring ATD (DONT RING ATD FOR GOD SAKE YOU'LL NEVER BE LEFT IN PEACE ONCE THEY FIND A NUMBER THEY CAN PIN YOU DOWN ON!) when you ring they'll try the smooth tactic of you can pay over the phone, set instalments up, blah blah, (remember these bast@rds are calling from india so data protection laws are [***] to say the least) once they have your card details as YOU have given THEM authority (i.e. a continous authority only revoked by a termination of contract) they'll take ANY amount they want from that card !!!

    YOU'RE SCREWED ..

    So the trick is to email three through the website tell them you WILL pay them but NOT ATD and you will not get in touch with them on their 0844/0845 numbers, also BEWARE that three, the conning shyster sh1tbags they are also use random mobile numbers to get you to pick up, so if you see a number you dont know calling, let it go thru to voicemail, if someone does want you they'll leave a message, three will NOT leave a message (evidence you see...) but they'll call persitently AND at weekends and late evening due to the time difference between UK and India. Also the address in glasgow is just a phantom office address so it looks like they're calling from the UK, not heard many palistani scots of late - have you?

    If you simply MUST make a payment to these bast@rds over the phone,

    a) ALWAYS USE A PREPAID MASTERCARD OR VISA, THESE SCUMBAGS CANNOT TAKE WHAT ISN'T THERE .. SO **YOU** HAVE CONTROL OVER WHAT YOU PAY.

    b) and this is MY favourite option, pay by standing order, all you need to do is set a payment up online via your bank to pay three to their sort code and account number (on the back of some, but not all bills) this is not mentioned anywhere online and c/s will deny all knowledge that it exists. then you use the specific 3 account number for the phone/laptop/broadband package, you want to pay, they cannot return the payment, you're making regular payment(s) to them so they CANNOT by LAW instigate an external debt collection agency, without a letter to you and also explaining the NAME, ADDRESS AND CONTACT DETAILS of said collections company. 3 management think they're clever, no they're just a bunch of waynkers, [***] customer service, some rice eating [***] mouthing off down the phone at you to pay and crappy calls all day and night in the home you'll give in and make a payment over the phone - DON'T !!!!

    As far as I can see they ar incompetent at following any procedures correctly and they get very upset if you ask them to explain their procedures. Also they are bound to recognise any dispute that you may have with the company that are pursuing the debt - in my case 3 have £10 credit in one of my dormant accounts and I owe them £10(apparently) However 3 are happy to say that because one account is PAYG and the other is contract that there is nothing they can do about it.

    Just had a call from ATD saying my 3 account is in debt. the problem is I have never had nor do I want a 3 account. Ignore them they are a joke and there is a process of debt recovery that they have to follow. Keep a log of their calls, your mobile will probably keep this.

    I was called out of the blue by 3 and offered a contract for a phone and dongle, said yes, but changed my mind and SENT it back in the cooling off period so i WOULDN'T BE CHARGED.
    But Ive received bills for the dongle ever since then, they CLAIM they never got the dongle but got the phone... which is weird since I SENT IN THE SAME BAG!!!

    Now they have given my case to the debt collection agency for £51.77 and been FORCED TO PAY. 3 told me without the dongle my account will stay open or I would have to pay £275 (cancellation fee) FOR SOMETHING I DON'T HAVE.

    But Ive been told to call this number above to arrange a payment plan and do not know what to do!!!

    I am being constantly bombarded with calls from this number. at least 3 times a day about a debt of £15 which I have paid! This was for a mobile dongle that I cancelled in December.
    This is harassment!
    I used to be a debt collector and I know that there are rules, maybe because they are in India and the rules are different.
    When they first called me 4 weeks ago, I had the money but I refused to pay over the phone. They were very persistant that I pay them but I have not received any letters from the company and I wont just hand out my bank details like that. They seem like the type of people who would just help themselves to money when they felt like it.
    The whole set up seems dodgy.
    I asked them to post me a statement. I said that when I received the statement I would happily pay. Instead they just call me constantly.

    I did end up receiving a debt collector letter this week and paid it immediatly through my bank. Yet they still call. I'm not answering.
    Its got to the point now where I may have to change my telephone number!
    Ive contacted THREE through their website. Ive not given out my home telephone number and the email address I gave them is a new one I created on hotmail. I dont want bombarding with emails as well.
    I hope now this will get sorted out. Ive never known anything like this, its £15 for crying out loud!
    I know for a fact that they cannot just send Bailiffs round... what are they gonna take anyway to cover £15..... my toaster??
    It has to go to court before Bailiffs can come round and then you would have to default on your agreed payments. The fact is that they cant take legal action if you are willing to pay the debt. And even if they did take you to court, take a log of all the phone calls and inform the judge of harassment!

    Do you have any idea how much it would cost them to take me to court for £15??? Its not worth it. It could cost them hundreds of pounds to get their £15.
    This is the worst company I have ever come across.

    My advice is to go through THREE website and email them. Say that you want to pay but refuse to deal with this debt collection agency because they are harassing you. Mention that you have kept a log of all of the calls and will be reporting them for harassment.

    I WILL NEVER USE THREE AGAIN... AND I ENCOURAGE YOU TO TELL YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY NOT TO BOTHER.

    Dont call them.
    Go speak to Citizens advice. They may call on your behalf.
    Contact three through their website and email them.
    What THREE are doing is wrong. Do you have proof of posting?? when you sent the item this will give an idea of the weight of the items in the bag, this will prove that there was more in the bag than the phone.
    They should be able to see you are not using the dongle.

    These people are idiots. You can dispute this. If you go to see citizens advice they should be able to help. They will also record your dispute, ask for something in writing to say that they are investigating and you can send this to THREE to show you are seeking help.

    They sent me a letter demanding that I pay or my account will default.  Totally out of the blue! The 3-Network passed my details to them, but they forgot to mention that I spoke to them requesting a final bill.  I will never ever refer anybody to take out a contract with the 3-Network.  Their customer service is RUBBISH!

    Just got another silent call from these idiots. I still don't have a 3G contract. Have lodged a complaint with Ofcom. Anymore calls and I will be calling the police "Protection from Harassment Act 1997".

    3 took money from my account and never credited the bill, have faxed a copy of my bank statements and a covering letter from me and the bank and now their getting collections after me for them breaching contract, i think i'll see you in court

    This number keeps calling me - i am a vo
    This number - 08453550306 phones me everyday, sometimes twice a day. The one time I answered it, it was a pre-recorded message asking me for an account number but I just hung up. I am with vodaphone and I tried to get the number blocked but the lady in the shop said it cannot be done. I am fed up of my phone ringing all the time with this random number!

    This company keeps harrassing me. My internet would not work so I cancelled the contract, as I SHOULD NOT have to pay for a service I am not getting. They threatened to sent dept collecters to my house, so I reluctantly paid the £35 i "owed" them. Dispite this, they still keep ringing my mobile. I'm saving my call logs, and if threatened any further I will take this up with the police

    Three is a discrace of a company!!
