- 08703330159On average I've been called at least once EVERY day for the past 3 (THREE) years by these MORONS - calls started when I moved into rented house and got new BT number - initially I answered them - many were silent calls - occasionally I got a real person who usually asked to speak with a MADE UP NAME like Miss Black or Mr White or Mrs Grey .... after telling them MANY TIMES that I was not any of these persons NOR did I know them - and PLEASE STOP CALLING - I stopped answering their calls. That was 3 (THREE) years ago and they still call me on average al least once a day. Reported to OFCOM but thats not stopped these FC**ING MORONS calling.

- kaosIf your with BT you could sign up for caller reject service, shame it's listed as a premium service - therfore I think costs £3.70+ per month!, or you could ask BT to change your telephone number.
or alternativly you could do what I'm going to do, and that is write to them (whatever you do - DO NOT SIGN THE LETTER with your signature - as they might use it to fake an agreement) and tell them that you will only deal with them in writing only.
CAG (consumer action group) web site has lots of advice and template letters for dealing with companies like this. check out the section on CCA request (consumer credit agreement) and fight back!
If they still continue call, you could also complain to OFCOM. - AngelaJust got a call from a annoying call centre agent called Gavin, extremely irate refusing to even listen to me regarding my account, ive got a sky account for £56 quid and wanted to pay in instalments, he kept shouting down the fone "credit or debit card, need a payment in full now" and that was it he was like a parrot refusing to listen until i gave my card details to him, i refused he said he was going to add an extra £70 because i didnt give him my card details, going to ofcom over this [***] surely he cant do that, very wary have ppl like this they are the scum of the earth.
i foned sky and they set up the payment plan and said they will take the account off interim when i explained the call from them with such rude and violating staff, if you ever get this person just tell then to [***] off, i did :)

- Davehad loads of calls from these idiots state i owe money to paypal, when i ask for details they said contact paypal and hang up, when you phone them back it says "thanks for calling we will call you back if its important" googled this number and found this site, just ask for a manager and report a complaint, i spoke to a supposed manager Mrs Farrel saying tough pay!!! without any proof, when i asked them to provide she said further action to be taken and hung the phone up, i called back and spoke to a pauline who sorted it all out, turned out to be id fraud!!!!!! [***] [***] how can then pursue debt without any proof, dont think they have any managers in there and if they do they are worse than there agents!!!

- Boycotting PresidentI am presently being harrassed and getting very stressed by this company. I have taken perticular measures to prevent further conversations with this company inclding threatening court prosecution against them for harrassment and monies by menaces. I am going to be consulting with legal bodies as to what can be done. If something can be done in ways of lawsuit: Intrum Vs. The People, i would like everyone who has ever been harrassed by them to step forward and join the band wagon. It is about time we stepped up for our rights as people and made them suffer for making us suffer as victims. Mine was a bank error which i refused to pay, so next on my hit list is boycotting Natwest Bank. Anyone who would like to join me on the Intrum boycott or the Natwest boycott may contact me in due course. I will leave an email address within the next few days after consultation.

You could also write to intrum justia and tell them you will only deal with them in writing only. (do not sign letter with your signature!)

- DaveCame home from work to find a missed call from this company. After what I've been reading here I don't think I'll be answering any calls from them in future. I have wrote to them many times in the past regarding a debt I have with them. They ignored all my letters so I'll ignore their calls.

- FrankI attempted to pay a relatively small bill belonging to someone else, my girlfriend having attempted to do likewise on the previous day. We did not succeed due to their aggressive, rude and thoroughly unprofessional behaviour. They are are a disgrace to their industry.

Money I owed ebay has already been paid but this collections agency still pursue me for more.
Rude to talk to, the guy I spoke to tried to be all aggressive and threatening but it was too obvious he was not the intimidating type.
Dealt with a few collections agencies in my time but this is definitely not the way for a collections agency to operate.
Tried to threaten me with home visits and court action, told him to go ahead with it. - andrewi have had 2 phone calls from them today over a matter of £80 for paypal which i sent a check for over a week ago now.
today was the first day theye phoned me, the first time i was at school and the second i answerd said i would get him (me) and just waited for them to hang up.
once this is over i will NEVER, EVER be using paypal or ebay again.

- SallyI am so angry with this company, I sold a mobile phone on Ebay and it was bought with a stolen credit card (I wasn't to know!) I let the guy pick it up from my house (didn't think would be a problem) then I get letters saying I owe the money that the credit card company reclaimed from Ebay! Paypay passed debt on to this company i set up a payment schedule and i was told it was direct debit so i made two payments, then it stopped and they started threatening me, i asked why had they started this when i was paying, they said they don't do direct debit and i had to ring up every month and pay by card! when i asked why they had taken two direct debit payments already they said it was a mistake and the agents was wrong to do it!
So i stopped paying, now they ring 4-5 times a day i've told them to where to go but they don't give up!- Caller: Intrum Justitia
