i was kept on phone for 2 hours, on two seperate occasions costing me a total of £51 on my parents phone bill, this scam needs to be stopped

belongs to surfpin, im guessing you all have kids who play a game called RuneScape, calls are charged at like 1.50 a min so if you dont hang up then ouch epic charge on bill

i have sent   my phone bill to cfd 4 refund. will i get  it back please 57 bloody quid

i recently called for a loan and didnt get it i called twice the 096 numbers and was told they would pay the phone  i have to send a paper bill costing £2 but have heard this is a scam?  i have to send it too c.s.d. freepost i will get back to you as soon as i get my reply and let you know if its truth or con.

I can confirm that we are in severe financial trouble & the chances of anybody getting a refund are pretty bleak.

So why do you charge so much for the call in the first place if you will refund it?
Why not just use the local number for the area your in?
Is it to try and trick unsuspecting people into not bothering with sending phone bills in etc?
To get interest from the bank for money thats not yours?

actually you can get your money back of them very easily just send them your bill hightlight the numbers you phoned to them and you get it back within 3 weeks because i did

This company does not lend money, they charge you a stupid amount of money getting you to call an 0906 number twice for 20 minutes a time, only to then give you details of other companies that might lend to you.

We hung up in the end, and then they sent an email saying that Wonga.com could lend to us, we could have and already did do that ourselves.

The correct address for the supposed refund of your telephone calls is
not what they say it is.

They also have a free phone number of 0800 195 1980

It's a con con con con - we have paid a huge amount on our phone bill for them to basically use Google and search under "pay day loans",

They also keep you on the phone for so much longer than is needed to make sure the time spent on the phone goes over the 15 minute barrier, hence they will have earnt a minium of £20.00, after taking all your details and even asking you twice, they ask you to call back in 20 minutes and give you a different 0906 telephone number to phone apprently this is for the processing department, who will without a dout have a descison on your loan, so you do that, only to be told by this processing department, that they are still waiting an outcome, whilst desperatly trying to keep you on the phone for the minium 15 minutes, the system always takes that long to loan, must be Google crashing hahaha!!!!

hey you said you got a call from cable & wireless, i happen to know that this is a phone provider which
is used exclusively in the channel islands, e.g. same as 02 or virgin etc, but you can only buy one of these pay as you go sims in the c.i. hope this helps!
