They didn't leave a message on my ansaphone.....so as usual, I've got no reason to return their call trace (1471). An odd number really.......the usual suspects......Nigeria, India, Ukraine?....the international space station?!......I guess not!....much too busy.

Me to, I did answer and never actually asked why,before ending the call  the caller could be any nationality with an accent but not English or American.

Our mysterious callers just phoned me again, but there was no-one at the end of the line willing to speak.....a caller from the Matrix?!....."Agent Smith here"...."How will you speak"? If I could physically reach them (....in Nigeria?).....I'd open my travel bag and bombard them with ninja stars .... a bit like Steve Jobs at the Chicago airport recently..(...allegedly).

that number rang me as well but I didn`t answer, they never left a message on my answerphone neither, has anyone actually rang it back and if so who or what is it.

had a call from this (odd) number yesterday 11-October at 5.50pm

Had a call from this number a few mins ago.  Caller spoke with a very foreign accent and I couldn't even understand the company he said he was calling from.

Sounded like it was a debt management company and that he had noticed I owed several thousand pounds and was paying it off at X per month.  A load of old rubbish as I have no debts whatsoever.  Told him politely where to go and put the phone down.

I just had a call from this number. It was an oddly distorted automated message that sounded like it should be delivering a ransom demand, but was actually claiming to be a debt relief company.
It did not provide an option for being removed from their call list.

Just had a call from this number. After a few seconds silence and me saying "hello" a mans voice said "hello" back then diconected. I know he onkly said "hello", but he sounded local.

I just had a call from this number. It was really odd I answered, there was nobody there. Then there was a beep and an automated message saying 'goodbye' ????

I've had this number call a couple of times. Just two rings and then stops. Each time I've checked the number with 1471 and been given the option of returning the call. I never have as the 091 prefix shows that this is a premium rate number. So they want me to answer and then be charged £1:50 a minutes while they keep me on the phone for as long as they can.

Had some problems with my new line so i've not had the phone plugged in for a few days. When i plugged it back in i picked it up to do a test call and it just beeped at me. Assumed not connected properly so i put it down again and it worked fine the next time ... Did a 1471 to see if i'd missed anything (despite being unlisted and a new number) and found 091566.

From reading the above messages it looks like whoever they are gave me the beep sound. Bizarre.

Just had a call from this number, very rude man even argued with me when I said he shouldn't be calling me!!! Couldn't get what company he was from as could not understand what he said.

091566 called this afternoon for step daughter. Have a lot of these types after she consolidated her debts a year ago. They never want to identify themselves but "can help write off" your debts etc...
This one I eventually managed to get his name of (sounding like) Vintel who worked for Moonish Solutions. After identifying myself as the person he DIDN'T want, he hung up..... Also had an extremely offensive "International" call about a week ago. Unfortunately B.T. say they cannot trace these, and the overseas companies know it. Suggested a product called Truecall (look it up on the web) which seems pretty good but abit pricey - rather screen my own calls so I can cut them off each time.   Have fun.....

Just had another call from this number going through much the same script, although this time he said he was from a UK Government department following through on a new initiative to reduce personal debt. Very foreign sounding so it was hard to actually understand what he was saying.  However as soon as he mentioned that he had been tracking my account and noticed I have £5,000 debit I said in a very loud voice it was absolute rubbish (I have no debt).  He very quickly put the phone down.  

My plan is to buy a very loud whistle and next time I get a call will make their ears ring!!

Called claiming to be from accident claims company. Foreign accent. On asking for registered address, put phone down on me.

Just had a call from these people at 10:05am asking for my ex - who moved out over a year ago. He sounded Indian and when I forcefully told him that my ex did not live here anymore and to remove his details from their database he sounded like he was still trying to talk to me but I hung up.

Was very dubious when I did 1471 to find it was such an odd number. Never trust anyone ringing you up about things when you haven't given your details to any companies.
