- lancewho called me with this number
- jumbsI would like to know who's number this is, as cost me loads and not dialled by me?
- ScottI checked my o2 bill and noticed that i was charged £1.70 for a 4 second call that i never made. I have searched on the internet and discovered that certain applications on the iphone have ads that when clicked dial premium rate numbers. I will contact o2 to have premium rate numbers blocked and try and get this charge removed.
- Lloyd MartinI also have a charge on my bill... just over £5, for just under 3 minutes. I did not dial it, but my daughter was playing games on the phone, and it would appear, clicked an advert which dialled this premium rate number. I'd love to get my hands on the little **** who's scamming on there...
I've also had a premium rate block applied to my phone now, though you'd think that would be on by default... - revenue share scamhttps://whocallsme.com/Phone-Number.aspx/09074734001

Apple,O2 and their 'app' clients are laughing all the way to the bank - Jonathan WillisI cropped up on this issue by someone forwarding it to me from the MSE forums. I thus forwarded this link onto Register, and we have a story - http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01/27/iphone_admob/
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2010/01/28/iphone_app_probe/
Hopefully this is now resolved as the AdMob company has updated the software. - AJThis happened to me as well, I was charged £1.70 for a 39 second call. I contacted o2 querying it and hoping to get the charge refunded, but I was told to call Apple to make them aware of what was happening. The number I was given to ring Apple was - 0800 072 4479 if that helps anyone else?
