Stupid number called me at work.

I'm in Australia and I got this number call me today but I missed it

i am from philippines i also recieved calls from +1 001. usually around midnight or very early morning. very disturbing though i dont answer it.

That +1001 number called me at least two times. The last time my phone rang up, it was 2 AM in the morning while in the middle of my sleep. It was really strange. I also had calls from a weird +0 number.

this number has been calling constantly, driving me nuts
with call display, I never answer,
they call on Holidays, later in the evening, anytime during the day but
almost every day!!!!!!!!!
don't know what I can do

I got 19 calls from this number, back to back on sunday morning beteen 6:17 & 6:19. My voicemail had 19 new blank voicemails. That was yesterday, my only day off. Now today the number called back and i answered and no one would respond, they just stayed on the line for about a minute and then hung up. Then about 30 mins later they called back and left another long blank voicemail. This is my cellphone, and i have had the same number for 10 years and on do not call registry for at least 6 years. I tried calling it back and tried *69 and it dont work.  

I had the same call ,the no# is +1001 only... i  was suprised  because the no.#s appear in my mobile is only 4 digit?!

Yeah, they called me at 4 am. Freaked me out for months

1001 called on my residence phone. My kid said that guy had an Asian accent and named my kid as Miss.
They introduced themselves as WINDOWS, offered help with virus damage repair on our computer.
My kid put a phone down.
Here we go with hikers breaking in your homes:
-1001 is not a phone number
-they use our country where everyone has computer, but not every phone is about computers
-WINDOWS does not give a flying F-ck about viruses on your computer, they deal only with big Corporations on sale levels
Just tell them that it is Old MacDonald farm with a lot of bull [***] on a floor. Try to ask them to work for a farm helping to clean pigs and cows.

1001 this number calling me twice, asking me, where did i live. is this scum number guys?

just got a phone call supposed ly from "Windows" and then it disconnected

why does this number continuously call my Company.  We've had about 50 calls and during a very busy trading period it is really getting on my nerves!!!!!!  How can this be stopped????

Dec 15, 2014: I'm from Sudbury Ontario  CANADA -  just received a call - showed as  +1001  /  I answered  / no sounds - no words - nothing / waited for about 4 seconds and it hung up. As many of you did - I googled it and here I am. I'm with Bell. I have NO Morgan Chase cards (didn't even kow what that was :) ) ~ I have NO similarities to all the other posts - weird. I will not answer any calls from such numbers again...but if I do receive another - I will google to see if any updates / answers received re these calls.

I did not answer and call just came to my cell phone too...but apparently these calls are ignoring a lot of people...its sad how this works that you can not complain

2015 and it's still going strong.  I got a few seconds of silence, then it disconnected.  I don't think I'll be answering them again any time soon.

I just got this call on my cell phone (I'm in Ontario with Telus). I didn't answer, and there was no voicemail left. Unfortunate that there is no concrete answer for who/what this number is actually for. Especially frustrating for those, like me, who are on the do-not-call list with unlisted phone numbers.

Damn. Im from Canada and I just got a call from this number for the first time a few minutes ago. I was hoping to find a bit more information on just who this bizarre number belonged to or where it was coming from... but it looks like most of you are just as clueless as I am. Hopefully this is not only the first but the last time that I hear from this number. Frankly I find it slightly unsettling and have no plans of picking up so whoever it is is wasting their time.

When you pay to have your number "non published" it only means they do not print your information in the public phone directory.  It doesn't mean that a robot caller won't go through sequential numbers to make the call.

I'm in canada and I got a call from this 1001 he left a angry voicemail saying I am using his wifi and my number was on his wifi ID. I know for fact I'm not. Must be a scam I'm assuming he was gonna try n weasel money to pay for his "wifi".

I do not think i have any link with you guys. I live in the caribbean Dominica and my phone provider is digicel. I get calls from this # 10018008712323 but when i answer the person just Hangs up. I am thinking maybe the person is hacking money from the phone company?
