5/1/15 i live in new york state and have been receiving many land phone calls with no one speaking this has been going on a long time usually in afternooon
once a  fellow did say my computer was about to crash & then offered  me a refund of $72.00-which i refused as i realized  a scam-he did call back a couple of times-my friend received same offer & declined-i said-stop calling i do not do business with far a way voices and you have a far a way voice they are now leaving 1001 message on my cell-i think they have a robot caller to find numbers-originallly thought it was one of my childs friends--just now found some kind of scam."

Just got a call from +1003 and I live in Norway. Didnt answer. Seemed too fishy...

just got a call from Unknown Name 1003, Indian dude names Oliver, told him to stop already, so annoying this is, I cant block that number, ugh!

Best to post under its own 1003 rather than confuse with 1001.

Calls from 1001,1005,1008

The incoming calls from numbers 1001 100 503 and a lot more are bots (small programs) created and used by hackers most of which are from China  scanning and probing VoIP & cell networks for vulnerabilities. Your service provider should be able filter them out or explain how you can do it.

Received call with caller ID 1001.  Didn't answer.

For me it was regarding my student loans and getting then forgiven through the Department of Education...?

I got a call today from a number like this, only it was 1001[my cell number].  I only realized it after the woman hung up.  It was one of those PC Services scams calling to say I have an infected computer.  I lied and told her I didn't own a computer and the line promptly went dead.

I also got one from +1001, but there was nothing but silence... I am in Poland, PLAY Mobile...

I just had a call from +1001 answered and it was silent until a recorded voice said goodbye? does anyone know what this is about or whom it is. I'm worried ive just been scammed in some way. I havnt called the number back and turnt my phone off for a short time. i wont be answering to this number again.
