I have gotten a call from this number every day for the past week. when i try calling it back, it says "You have reached a nonworking number. Announcement 14 glitch 1 8 - 2". But nonetheless, they keep calling. How do i stop them?

Seeing as how I cut up my credit cards a couple of years ago so my interest rate is 0, I'm wondering how they can lower it any further!!!
They call repeatedly and if you press 1 or 2, the phone hangs up -- wasting my cell phone minutes.  So I went to the national do not call registry -- www.donotcall.gov -- and entered my cell phone number.  You can do that now. If I hear from them after 30 days they are going on report!!

Oh Yeah -- I got that nonworking number announcement also. First time I thought I had forgot to pay my cell phone again - LOL.

received phoned call, after that i pressed 1, i spoke with guy and i told him i don't have any credit card, he hug the phone.

I got a call from this number and pressed 2 to be removed from their list. Then, I got the same call again and pressed 1 to speak with someone. I told them I asked to be removed from their list and they hung up on me.

I received a call from this number and when on the phone with them I asked them not to call any more. I was told FU and some other choice words. I looked it up on the internet and found the number greg gave for there costomer service and called it. The lady there denied any call center in that area (right). Anyways I told her what happened and she said well I can put you on our list do not call list but we have nothing to do with that number that called you. I dont beleave her but either way hope that the calls now stop as the call all hours of the day and night. Wonder if I took this number to the states att could they do something about it. i just might have to try this and see what happens.

I got a call from this number was told to press 1 to lower my credit card intrest, i dont have credit cards, so i pressed 1 asked to get off there calling list and got hung up on.

I have gotten a call from them almost everyday. I don't answer the phone. I hope they get caught trying to scam people if this is a scam call. I look up numbers before I answer unfamiliar numbers. These people need to get a life or a useful trade. Stop preying on innocent people. How would they feel if someone did them like that or a family member of theirs?

they called me on my work phone witht the prompt to lower my interest rate press 1. I do not have a credit card so I pressed one to get more info some guy answered the phone with a real low voice. Couldn't understand what he was trying to say. So I escalsted my voice for him to speak up and he hung up the phone.

just dont answer the phone for people you dont know, if its that important theyll leave a message, [***].  i liek what dude said keep em on the phoen and mess with em

They called me today but i missed it.

Got a call from this number on my cell phone.  Started to hear a recording about my credit cards, hung up and came here.  Between these kinds of calls and the auto warranty calls that I got hourly some days last year, it has to stop.

I got this call many times, I have told them several of times to stop calling me and they keep on calling. So I don't answer to anyone whos number I don't know.

This blog has documented that this number is Priority Direct Marketing.  We argue that the number at 202-367-9197 is not our company or associated with our company.  If you have been contacted by this number, this is most likely a call center offering services similar to ours.  We do have call centers that market this same service, however - none of which come from the 202 area code - or even in that state.  We advise if you ask to be removed from the callers list - to stay on the phone with the caller and seek more information about the offer that they are calling you about.  Then once you have gained their interest, then ask for their rep name.  Do not authorize anything if you do not want to purchase the program offered.  Best of luck, Priority Direct Marketing.

Called my cellphone this morning with a pre-recorded credit card message.

It is probably a random dialing.  I just got my phone yesterday and they called less than 24hrs since getting it.  I probably have a used # and the person before picked up, so they figure someone will answer eventually.  

1 202-367-9197 probably isn't even their real number and may truly not exist and may be impossible to track down.  Just make sure you don't give out information and block them from future calls.

I am curious as to what provider people are using, might be limited to certain ones.  Mine is AT&T wireless.

there are a lot of 1 202-367-9*** numbers doing this same thing.  It is clear that these are all related in some way.

maybe avoid picking up similar calls from that # and block them.
