I did not have the $ to pay off my eBay fees at the time, so I let it sit for a while, well it has been paid off for a week and these idiots STILL call. I think it's time to file a harassment charge.

I got a call from these guys asking for money that I owe to ebay. They guy started swearing at me and threaten to send someone to my home to collect the $40 that I owe ebay in fees. I said I would gladly give him a check if he sent someone over and he told me that he wanted cash. He said that the gentleman that he would send over can be very demanding and if I knew what was good for me, I'd have the cash on me.

I just got my third call from these folks. I speaks in broken English and demands money. He actually asks for my check account information and tells me that I have to pay now or else I would be "very sorry". I asked him to take his foot out of his mouth and explain himself. He then started swearing on the phone at me. I went from being pissed off to just plain old having fun with this moron. He actually told me that he would send someone over for the money. I told him to bring it on and he hung up. what a looser.

This is all part of elaborate scam ebay and paypal are doing to scam people out of millions of dollars they go after new sellers and abuse them freeze their accounts for 180 days steal their money and send a collection agency to steal more don't pay these fools! I received a call from them today. It is IC Systems a fraudulent collector for eBay. I use Google Voice so I can block their number. If you want Google Voice too, text me at 580-786-1043. I warn you DO NOT Spam me as I will just block you after your first attempt.

that i s why i stopped using ebay... as a small time seller you have no protection and they are always changing their policies. iwas supposed to recieve credits on my account so it was cleared out and i was due a refund above the amount. but never recieved the refund and they never zeroed out the account.

Just keep calling that number back a number of times and don't say anything. Eventually they will hang up. After 5 times of reverse psychology IC systems never called back again. If this happens again just keep calling them back and don't say anything until they hang up. And do it again when they do. They're is usually just one person that will pick up the phone. This disrupts they're call system and will eventually get them to stop calling you.

I am with you on that one. They stole $500 from me and are asking me for $800. I picked up the phone and told them they will get their money just as soon as they give me the $500 they stole. They still call. So I still don't answer. They never bother to leave a message. So guess it is not that important.

When they ask if this is Mr. or Mrs. +++++++.  I tell them just a moment and put the phone down. I usually return to the phone whenever I think about it.  They are usually gone.  After a few times of this, they stop calling.  I use this with all bill collectors.  Works great.

[***] [***] are calling me at least 5 times a day. i think its funny now. i talk to them in a HORRIBLE fake accent or in a sexy voice and ask them to hold, put it on mute and wait for time to hang up! i actually look forward to the calls now.  lol

It is illegal for debt collectors to call after 8pm and before 8am. it is also illegal for them to call you at anytime on the weekends.
Now as for you paying ebay, that will not make them stop because they are a collection agency and have added their fees to the bill in addition to the actual amount owed so they may not give up until you either get ebay to pull it off the collections list or pay them, (IC) the amount they charge for their services.
There are sites on the internet that explains all the laws and rights of the debtor.
Just put in your search engine debt collection laws and pick one of the many listed.
You owed eBay such a small amount and it is ludicrous that eBay even messed with it.
What I always wanted to know is why can't we turn a debt owed to us over to some collection agency like they do. Just list it as eBay owes me 9,000.00. They would then be getting the phone calls we are and who knows, Maybe eBay will pay it. For instance, I sold some items to an over seas buyer who then claimed he did not receive the item and filed with paypal for the refund which paypal always finds in the buyers favor no matter how much proof you have that you sent the item. They paid the buyers back out of their buyers protection plan and I now owe ebay and paypal over 4,000.00
Needless to say I am cut off from selling until it is paid. I could go to court and sue them if I had a million dollars to pay off the judges like they do when they are sued.

It is funny if it really worked but be advised that you are in danger of impersonating a police precint. Not sure about the law concerning that one.
