They try to screw everyone over. Sellers are not treated good on there. Someone can buy something from you and say it was not good when it was and paypal will refund their money with no questions asked and they don't even make the buyer return what they bought. They have screwed so many people over. I wont even get on their site anymore. If you are buying something they treat you great but if you are selling something they will keep any money you make for them selves and give you some BS reason about why they are frezzing your account. I honestly don't know how these people sleep at night. They steal money from people all day every day. I HATE THEM!!

Paypal froze my account so I owe Ebay like $1000 or whatever. I submitted all the info they asked for and they still haven't unfrozen it. The whole point being is Ebay is Paypal. They keep calling and calling. I block their numbers and I report every one of them to the BBB and then the calls stop. I also sent a nasty email to ebay telling them to stop harassing me or I will get a lawyer.

202-367-9287 is associated with a new number 855-820-5216. After telling the 885 number off I was called within an hour by the 202.

I have entered this number in a search engine and couldn't believe how many other people were being bothered by these people. According to what I have found, they are a debt collection service. Their main client is Ebay and I can only assume they think I owe money. Funny, I don't owe anything to Ebay. I'm not sure how to get rid of them but I am researching it and if I find an effective method, I will post again. Thanks

that is only true if you provide another number at which to contact you. Otherwise they are allowed to contact you the 'best way possible'

However, you may circumvent them calling at all by sending a certified, return-receipt letter to cease and desist all communications but for USPS mail. You do not need a reason to substantiate it. Sending it in a verifiable form such as USPS certified, R/R is best. If they call again, you may ask their name and identifier - then report them to your state's Attorney General. Many state's AGs provide hefty fines even for the caller that violates the cease and desist. It will help your phone stop ringing. Another, avenue is to try and negotiate the debt if it is valid or to refute it if it is not.

Mail them a written letter certified signature receipt asking them to cease contacting you by phone. Legally they must comply. They can still send you written collection letters but it also creates a paper trail that will be beneficial for you. I had to call numerous times to get the number. Brenda (a call center associate) not only refused to give me the written address, She threatened me with continued action to collect the debt. she then hung up on me. These guys are legally required to provide you with full contact information for there organization. If they fail to do so, They are in violation of FTC regulations. Learn your rights and use the laws already in place to protect you. I plan to do just that....

Trust me whatever you owe, DON'T PAY IT. There is nothing they can do.

This person calls 4 to 5 times a day week days and weekends some times past 8pm. Never leaves a message. Always waking my kids up at night.

What everyone should do is just call them back several times and don't say

Calls at work, calls all day, they don't speak english, they are rude.

This is IC systems, a collection agency.  They have been calling me 5 - 7 times a day, every day, for weeks.  I finally got ahold of a live person there, verified they were calling concerning my ebay account.  I told them I paid up my ebay account a week ago, and I have sold 6 items since then.  I told him I am also taping the conversation, and I am requesting they do not call again, verify their information with ebay.  The rep on the line was actually polite, calling me "Sir", and asked for the last 4 of the number I wanted to stop calling.  I gave it to him, he said they use an automated caller, when I call them it calls me back so I will receive one more call from them.  I again told him I am recording also.  He agreed that was ok, and actually apologized for the inconvenience.  We shall see if it stops, if not, I will be happy to play my recording for an attorney.

I sold on eBay for about 10 years. The first 5-6 years were really good, I started out small but quickly started making a fortune selling stuff on eBay. At one point, I was pulling in about $40,000 a year in sales and about $25,000 in profits after fees, shipping, etc. It was really good for a while...

Then things started to turn bad on eBay... They took away Money Orders and Checks forcing me to take PayPal... Then people started ripping me off filing false Charge Backs through PayPal to get their $$$ back and keep the item I sent them... Then eBay took away the sellers right to leave feedback... Then it got REALLY bad and people started ripping eBay sellers like me off left and right.. Then PayPal Froze my account after 8 years!!!

I owed eBay some fees... They Take a giant $#**% on my head then want me to pay them their cut?? Well F&$K that buddy. Not in this lifetime.

I got even though... eBay wanted to make everything unfair for the seller, fine, I'll make it unfair for eBay.. I roasted them and took about $10,000 in pure profits before they kicked me off. Screw em.. If they pull $%&* with me.. I Pull $*(#* with them 10x Harder...

Payback baby. eBay is still after me today for like $8000 in fees I never paid. They DESERVE IT!!!

I get this phone call several times a day, they were using a different number. I never used ebay or bought anything from them so I don't understand why they would be calling me. Pay Pal is doing the same thing. These people need to double check their records to see who actually owes them money.
