I got this call to,same thing as everyone else the anser machine at first and press one to get a rep....so I pressed one and said yes id like help...can you first tell me if you know its illegal to scam people  and what country or state are you from anyway?????you can only guess they hung up after that.

same thing happened as all of the rest....nothing shows on my phone as to who it is tho.......I wonder what this is all about?? I am reporting it to my phone company and see if they can block that number for me, I dont want to be involved with some long distance scheme....Good luck to all

Calls morning and evening.....every day.   Tried calling number back but says can't go through as dialed.   Soooo annoying, how do I stop this????

1st time I pressed 1, then I told the guy I was on the "do not call list" - he hung-up on me. 2nd time (yesterday) I pressed "2" since I "did not want to receive this call again" - recorded that one. Third time (today) I registered a complaint against the number, and let them know I also have a recording of the message from 9/9/09:

I was resting when the phone rang with this number showing on caller ID. Because I was half-asleep, I answered without thinking. It was a recorded message from "Heather" about reducing the interest rate of a credit card. The call-waiting beeped, so I switched over, and ironically it was the exact same recorded message!!! Ugh. Yes, I'm on the DNC list as well.

NEVER GIVE YOUR NAME OR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION , ADDRESS ECT SOME OF THIS PEOPLE GOING TO TELL YOU ,hello my name is jam---- i represent this company and we like to send you a example of this product it's freeeee yeah right you only pay 4.95 for shipping which credit card you one to use today if you said yes this is my credit card number preper for you next stament bill suprise and you going to call your credit card (VISA) and said i din't buy all this stuff aaahhhhhh,remember when you gave your credit card number for the free example and you only pay 4.95 for shipping they got you know somebody is buying and eating with your credit card SO WHATCH OUT BUDIE

This number continues to call our house. It is a computer recording.
We are subscribe to the no call list.

What can I do to stop thm??

Hey Mia, check Tom's idea. When they call you again, be very nice and said I don't own a credit card. I don't believe on bank ect and they will stop calling you.

recorded message to reduce my credit card rate - they didn't specify which account they were calling from and I have have a wide assortment.  I pressed "one" to speak with a live person.  No one came on the line I hung up.

I am so sick of these phone calls!  When I tell them to stop calling, they simply hang up on me.  Yet they keep calling!  Please report them at http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm

Just got a call in Texas from this number, called it back using a 1, for long distance, said the subscriber was not in service, tried it without a 1 and got a business named "Jerseyville" ?  The number showed to be from Washington DC.
No message was left.

Just got the same automated "there is no problem with your account...calling to offer you a chance to lower your interest rate". I hung up.

Got a call from this number this afternoon. Caller ID showed "Cell Phone    DC". I didn't recognize it, so let it go into voice mail. Only had part of the message in as these automated answering systems kick on as soon as they detect an answer and don't know the difference between a live person or recorded greeting. Something about "lowering your rate" in a female voice. I'll block it if they continue to call.

NOTE: Check with your phone service provider about selective call blocking. We can block up to 12 specific phone numbers ourselves (Comcast). Most phone companies should have similar features available. Of course, the list of 12 isn't ENOUGH, so I have to rotate numbers in and out of the list, but it still works pretty well.

Received call at 9:35AM. I did not answer.  A recorded message was left- something about lowering rates.  I received similar message the day before, but from a different number.  I am on DNC.  I never answer these calls.

These people call every day.  Will not let me opt out.  I am on all no call lists.  These people are pig [***].

These jerks call early AM almost daily and I too want these people to pay for this offenses. I am on DNC list but that doesn't seem to stop them. I will contact the FTC to file a complaint. The FTC nees to do their job.

we have been getting these calls daily sometimes 2 or 3 times.  We had been letting the answering machine get them but finally deciced to try to stop it. we press 2 and that did no good, so we did 1 and a man answered, I could berely hear him , when i told him i wanted our name taken off the list he hung up on me.

call 2 every day, asking to lower your intrest rate on credit cards. Time is running out this is your final notice.
When you try to talk to them they hang up.
If you press 2 to stop the calls, they call 1 a day instead of 2.
