9/14 12:30pm  202.459.4122  CID = Unknown Name.  Recording said this is Heather from Account Services - there is nothing wrong with your account but you can lower your interest rates by pressing 1 to talk to a live representative or press 2 to have your number removed from this list and not be called again.  Recording was in English - very easy to understand.  I chose to ignore this call - because by pressing 2 it would send them a clear message that the number is a working phone number that they would probably be selling to other scam outfits.

DNC does not protect you from this type of call.  They are not asking you to purchase anything.

Same deal, received same recorded message from "Account Services" offering to lower my rates.  Just hung up and filed a complaint with the National Do Not Call Registry https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx. Next, it will be the FCC: http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm.  Last time I filed with the FCC, I never received any more phone calls. Not sure it is a coincidence, but they ended finally.

This is the first time the number actually showed up. It usually just says "Out of Area". When I'm working from home, I notice I get 6-7 of these calls a day, one about every two hours until about 9:30 at night. No one on the other end of the line when I pick it up, just empty air. It is really annoying!

I just came home from work and there was a message on my machine. Just someone saying "hello" over and over again. The number was 202 459 7122.

I got a call from this number last Thursday.  I have ATT U-verse, so I have call history I can see on my tv.  The call is out of country, I think, because it was 0112024597122 (011) 202-459-7122.

If you have shared any information with callers from this number, report it to the Washington DC Met Police fraud unit at email mpd.fraud-unit@dc.gov.

I receive the call and there is no voice on the other end, no recording, nothing.

Recieved call from the 202-459-7122 number.  They would not answer when I spoke.  Probably scammers from the ACORN group......

When I, a male, answered unknown caller call from the above number, these people hung up.  Ms. Davis is elderly and a dementia patient so I screen all calls

S.O.S as everyone else. Getting tired of blocking all these calls. What is the DNC for anyway? Is there any inventors out there that would make some kind of device that would deliver a nearly fatal jolt or a noise over the phone that would permanently deafen these annoying scammers?

Got a call listed as "cell phone DC" from this number. didn't answer. my number is already on the do not call list.

Again, I get this phone call from them. I have been on the Do Not Call Registry for years...Something about credit card rates. Sounds like a real scam...

Received a call from 202-459-7122 offering to lower my credit card interest rates.  I was able to speak to a live person and asked her to remove my name and number from her database and do not call me again.

Received call from 202-459-7122 at 9:20 AM (est) Wednesday, 9-16. Automated msg. that says "this is Heather - calling to inform you that your credit card interest rate is about to expire...." yada, yada..... Press 1 to speak to a representative. When I did that, a somewhat unintelligible voice answered "card services" - I asked what card this was for and he said "we service Visa, Master Card, etc." I asked who they are calling for (no name or card ID was provided thus far). He asked "who is this" - I repeated the question - "who are you calling for" and he hung up. Obviously a scam. I then reported the number to the FTC at 877-382-4357. If you receive a call from this number, please do the same. We are listed on the do not call list as well.

The called and I saw number or caller id so I did not answer and they right back did not answer.

I got the same call.  They would not tell me what company they were with... only that they "are affiliated with Bank of America, Chase, " etc. and "affiliated" with Visa and Mastercard.  They could not tell me either which card they were calling in reference to.  I told them they were in violation of FTC law, and that I am on the "Do Not Call" list.  After he tried to tell me that I called them (HAHA!), I explained once again that they were in violation of FTC law, and he hung up.

I received a call from 202-459-7122 saying they would lower my interest and told me to press #1 when I did I was disconnected

I pressed 1 just to take up the persons time and inform them I am on the DNC list.  He stated he would call me every minute from now on. You have to laugh.

I received a couple of calls from the number. States they can lower my interest on credit cards.I don't answer and they do not leave message. I am on DNC list. How can these people continue to call? I also notice that it seems that they dial from random numbers telling you the same thing. Someone should stop these company's.
